I am feeling frustrated. I have sent numerous messages and tried calling, but have not received a response. Today, I ordered tacos from La Union Bakery, a place I have previously been pleased with. However, today's order was disappointing. Normally, they would call to confirm my choice of meat for the taco, but did not do so this time. I messaged the driver out of concern as they did not speak much English. The driver relayed my message, but my request for shredded beef was not met. Instead, I received shredded steak, which is tough and dry. This mix-up has left me unsatisfied with my purchase. As a work-from-home parent assisting a child in online classes, I cannot easily leave my responsibilities to address this issue. The miscommunication and error on their part have led to this inconvenience, and I am hoping for a refund.

Dear Uber, I have always trusted Uber Eats to provide a fair service and issue refunds when necessary. Recently, I ordered 3 salt and pepper chicken meals and a ham and cheese toasted baguette, but I only received 1 salt and pepper chicken meal, a meatball baguette, and some chips. This mix-up has left me missing two meals and receiving a completely incorrect one. I firmly believe that a refund is in order for three of the meals. Hello, I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to place an order on any restaurant's website. The "Place Order" button remains inactive despite filling in all the required fields correctly. I have attempted troubleshooting steps like disabling my adblocker, switching browsers, and more, but to no avail. Unfortunately, contacting customer service by phone is not an option as phone support seems unavailable tonight. I believe this issue might be widespread. Order number B27BF was placed for 2 smoothies. Despite being just 20 minutes away, I anticipated a swift delivery through Uber Eats. I made the order around 3:30 pm, and as of now at 4:21 pm, the delivery was scheduled to arrive no later than 4:40 pm. However, I have had 2 drivers assigned to the order, with the last driver seemingly abandoning it, causing the delivery time to increase to 5:00 pm. I attempted to seek assistance via the app but faced challenges reaching out to the store or canceling the order. I only seek a refund as I have been waiting for nearly 2 hours for a smoothie. I ordered a delivery for one of my employees, specifying the delivery time for the following day between 1:00-1:30pm. After placing the order, I received a text indicating it was on its way, which was not what I requested. I spoke to the driver, Elizabeth, who helped cancel the order through UberEats. Although I received confirmation of the cancellation, I was unable to reach UberEats directly to address the issue. This mistake was on UberEats' end, not mine, and I do not wish to be charged for this incorrect delivery. I am willing to dispute the charge if necessary, but I hope UberEats will provide better customer service and reach out to me to resolve this matter.

Hello, I am reaching out with a concern. Recently, my friend registered his account on his phone, but somehow my card details were used, and £14 was charged by O2, totaling £76 due to attempted double charges. I contacted customer service around September, and they mentioned refunding the money, but nothing has appeared in my account as of yet. Additionally, I received an email stating my card was registered by someone in London, a place I've never visited. Please call me at [redacted]4. If not, I may need to involve the police and my bank as this activity is not authorized by me. Thank you.

I have been trying to reach customer service without success, so I'm providing details here. I need to visit the bank to obtain statements because I no longer receive them via mail. There was a payment of [redacted] on September 14th and an email regarding an account registration in London in October. I will attempt to re-send the email for reference. I am requesting a full refund and also seeking a refund for bank charges due to unplanned overdrafts totaling 78.00 this month. These charges were deducted when my benefits were deposited. I have mental health and learning challenges and currently have no electricity or gas because of this financial situation.

On October 22nd, I placed an order with MacDonalds Upton store totaling £45. Unfortunately, the delivery went to two wrong locations before reaching me, resulting in cold food with several missing extras that I paid for. After reaching out, I was promised a £39.99 refund twice, but only received £3.99. Despite being assured the money would be in my account in 3-5 days, I was later informed that the matter was closed due to the partial refund. The customer service I have experienced has been extremely disappointing. I have received automated responses without empathy for the significant amount I spent on the order, which was inedible due to being cold and incomplete. I understand if a refund cannot be issued to my bank and must go into my wallet, but receiving £3.99 is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the customer service representatives. I kindly request a resolution to this matter promptly. I expected a hot, correct meal for my family and received the opposite. I simply wish to have my money refunded to my bank account or wallet as soon as possible.

I placed an order for takeaway on October 29, [redacted], using Uber Eats for the first time. Despite the restaurant's 35-minute delivery estimate, my order has not arrived. I have not been able to contact the driver, restaurant, or Uber Eats for assistance. The delivery is now over 35 minutes late with no updates, and I have to leave for work without having eaten. I am disappointed with the lack of service and the inability to cancel the order or speak with someone. I request a full refund for the order and an explanation for the poor service provided.

I was recently charged for a meal from Asia Tandoori on Uber Eats that I believed was cancelled. I experienced issues ordering both on the website and app. Orders from the desktop site resulted in errors, while the app showed my order going through but then a pop-up indicated it was cancelled. Since I received no confirmation, I assumed the order was cancelled and eventually ordered from a different site. I did not receive any notification that the food was being delivered, yet it arrived unexpectedly about 75 minutes later. Therefore, I am requesting a refund for the meal ordered at 19:48 on 29/10/20. Thank you.

I placed an order (Number 433EC) with Uber Eats on October 24th around 5:00 PM. Despite using a $25 discount coupon, my total, including a $5.00 tip, came to $28.23. After waiting over an hour and a half, we checked the app to find out our order had not been assigned a driver yet. When I called customer service, I couldn't get through as they were not taking calls at the time. By 8:00 PM, our food still hadn't arrived, and the app showed no progress. When we called Bob Evans, they mentioned our food had been ready but was getting cold. Finally, a driver arrived, and when I asked him about the delay, he was unaware of the situation. Bob Evans couldn't explain either, suggesting avoiding Uber Eats due to similar issues. While the driver and restaurant suggested a refund, Uber Eats denied my request, offering $10 of Uber Cash instead. Despite my emails requesting a full refund, they have not responded to my messages.

I used the Uber Eats app on my phone and mistakenly placed three identical orders to a restaurant. When I tried to cancel, the app crashed. The first order arrived at my workplace damaged, with the soup spilled in the delivery bag. The driver left the damaged bag at the receptionist's desk without informing me. All three items were damaged inside. My credit card was charged for all three orders. I contacted the restaurant, but they directed me to Uber Eats. I recently ordered two double cheeseburgers but only received one, and all the food arrived ice cold after being picked up in Manhattan and brought to the Bronx. The ice cream was melted, the condiments for customizing the ice cream were missing, and some items were incorrect or missing altogether like the apple pies, the iced caramel macchiato, and the quarter pounder meal without pickles, onions, or tomatoes. It is frustrating to pay a significant amount for cold, incomplete, and incorrect orders. I have ordered from Uber Eats before, and this experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I am requesting refunds for the items that were missing or incorrect due to the delivery person not fulfilling the order correctly. This experience has left me dissatisfied and I will not be using Uber Eats again in the future.

I placed an order with Shaking Crab UWS for delivery between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM today, 10/30/[redacted]. Unfortunately, the order was not delivered, and the app still shows "preparing your order..." I contacted the restaurant at 8:00 PM, and they informed me that the food had been ready since 5:00 PM. They mentioned it was an issue with Uber as the delivery person did not pick up the order. I am seeking a refund for the $43.29 I was charged. I am extremely disappointed as this was a birthday dinner delivery that never arrived. I am dissatisfied with the negative and unreliable service experienced.

I placed an order for food, but the delivery driver canceled last minute due to car trouble without notifying me. Subsequently, I received a call from Uber customer service, and the representative was impolite and abruptly ended the call. Although the system indicates that I wasn't charged, $60 was deducted from my account instead of the expected $30. It's frustrating as now the original delivery driver received my food for free, and I have to wait an additional hour despite choosing the priority option. This experience has been a disappointment and waste of my time.

On Friday, October 2nd, the Uber Eats app was not connecting to the server and charged for a order placed that day. To check if the app was connecting, we placed multiple orders which were also charged to my partner's debit card. The bank account shows the charges as pending. We are waiting to see what happens. The orders were from Taco Bell at Parque de la Paz and Mall Multicentro Desamparados.

I communicated with a representative via messages and requested a cancellation due to delays. They assured me the food wouldn't be prepared until the Uber driver arrived at the restaurant. Despite this, I proceeded to cancel. However, an hour later while I was sleeping, the Uber driver arrived at my door with cold food, even after my cancellation. This situation feels unjust. Furthermore, the restaurant is only 5 minutes away, so it's puzzling how the food arrived cold. I intend to contact my bank tomorrow regarding this issue. I have also uninstalled both applications as this has occurred too frequently.

I placed an order using a promo code that expired at 10 p.m. I finalized my order at 9:50 p.m., and the discount was applied successfully. Opting for pick-up, I collected my order after the promo expiration time. Although I completed the order before the promo ended and agreed to the discounted price of 0.00€, I was asked to pay the full amount upon pick-up, which I initially did not accept.

Hello, I placed an order at Al Jasmin Restaurant at around 8:36 pm with order number #[redacted]. The order took approximately 50 minutes to arrive because the driver had another delivery, resulting in the sandwiches being cold. However, the main issue was that the entire order was incorrect. Despite my note requesting only garlic and coleslaw, my sandwiches were filled with lettuce, tomato, and other vegetables. I reached out to customer service through the app, and a person named Merlon responded, saying give me 2 minutes to check your account, then abruptly ended the conversation. This experience has led me to decide that this will be my final order with Uber and Uber Eats. I will be deleting my account and sharing my disappointing story with all my friends. I kindly request a refund and assistance in returning the order to the restaurant.

I used PayPal, and they refunded me £13.02 from Costa as I didn't receive my order. The refund was credited to my bank account on October 28th. However, yesterday, Uber Eats wouldn't let me place an order as they claimed I owed them £13.02. Upon checking my bank account this morning, I noticed that £13.02 was debited from my account for something I didn't get. This is the second time this issue has happened. I will escalate this matter if I don't receive a refund soon. The first time this occurred, I managed to recover the funds.
