A worker from UberEats called up at our takeaway, promoting their company and seeing if we were interested in using them. I told the lady worker that we were not interested at all, and tried to end the conversation, but she kept prompting me for answers as to “why?” She tried to arrange another time to speak to us, but I repeated told her we, as a shop, we were *** percent not interested and i told her that it’s a very inconvenient time to speak. Her discourse began to grow aggressive as she kept asking why we weren’t interested. she spoke in an patronising manner and listed “solutions” to our problems. What I am most furious about is that she mocked our business, when I said I wasn’t interested, she stated “so you don’t want more revenue? You don’t want to make more money? You don’t?” I understand that she was trying to advertise her company but there’s should be an understanding when a potential customer says they are not interested the first time.
GetHuman-ansonsy did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
