Hi, I attempted to cancel an order after * minute of placing the order through Ubereats. My husband at the same time, called the restaurant and the restaurant cancelled the order.**Vicky, your Ubereats representative, interaction *********** placed me on hold and told me that the order cannot be cancelled and I cannot get a refund. She said she spoke with the restaurant, and they had already started the order. I said that is not true, I placed the order * minute ago and my husband spoke with the restaurant.**I told her my husband called them and they had cancelled the order. She place me on hold to "call them again" and said that the order cannot be cancelled because the restaurant stated the order and if I don't want it I cannot get a refund. I told her that was a lie, the restaurant did not start the order.**My husband, in the mean time, called the restaurant again and the guy said he told Vicky that the order was cancelled. **My husband then asked to speak to the supervisor, in which Vicky puts us on hold again. She said the supervisor said I can have a refund. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said the supervisor is busy. She processed the cancellation and I asked to speak to the supervisor again. She placed me on hold and said the supervisor is on the phone with someone else and it will be a while. I did not believe her. She lied in the past, she will continue to lie.**Pretty much, this was a ** minute conversation on a Sunday night. Vicky is a liar. This representative is the reason why I will no longer be using Ubereats. I work in a hospital where the entire unit uses Ubereats for lunch, and I will make sure we transition to GrubHub and will no longer be a customer. My husband is federal government employee and his entire office uses Ubereats and will no longer be using Ubereats as well. **I have never had such dishonest, time waiting, customer service such as this. Absolutely terrible!!!
