I ordered burgers from a local restaurant. I waited for over an hour for someone to pick it up, and it’s still “being waited for pick up.” I called the restaurant. They said the burgers are soggie. I don’t want to eat soggie burgers. So, I had to cancel my order, Bc they STILL haven’t picked up the order. My order was $** something. But, they made me pay $** to cancel for my order. This is super annoying and dissatisfactory. This is NOT my fault! If I’m going to pay for your service, I should not have to wait ONE hour plus, for a pick up. No one even picked up our order. We have ordered Uber eats over *** times. So, I know food gets “picked up” then delivered , after the restaurant prepares your food. The restaurant has had our food prepared for over an hour and this is the fault of Uber eats. It is not fair to pay $** for a canceled ordered of SOGGY burgers.
GetHuman-joelcame did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
