I had recently placed an order with Bay City Deli through their website as their app was not working. Unfortunately, while checking my order, I accidentally hit cancel. Immediately, I called customer service, but was informed that I could not reorder from the restaurant, would still be charged, and that they were unable to assist me further. This response was unacceptable to me as I reached out within a minute of canceling. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was initially denied, but after insisting, I was still informed that nothing could be done to help me. This experience has left me disappointed in Uber Eats customer service and I will explore other food delivery options in the future.

Good evening, This is my 3rd attempt to contact you regarding my order experience. I have encountered difficulty trying to report my issues online and over the phone. Despite my efforts, I have faced challenges communicating my concerns. Order #[redacted] was placed at 7:33 PM, accepted immediately, and preparation began at the same time. The estimated delivery time was 7:59 PM, but the order arrived at 9:35 PM. I ordered a small meal from McDonald's, and I am extremely disappointed as it took over 2 hours to be delivered. Upon arrival, the food was cold, drinks were watered down, and the ice cream was melted. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had, and I am incredibly upset. Hello, I am Lenisha S., and I work for Uber Eats. Recently, I received a message informing me that my account has been deactivated without any prior notice. This is highly unprofessional and concerning to me, as Uber Eats is my primary source of income for my family. Unfortunately, Uber Eats lacks an effective support system for employees to address such issues. I urgently need to speak with someone to rectify this situation promptly so that I can continue working with Uber Eats. I was looking forward to my shift this evening, as I do every evening, and now I am unable to work. I hope to resolve this misunderstanding soon.

When receiving food deliveries, I believe it's important for each order to be delivered directly without combining multiple orders in one trip. It doesn't seem fair to pay the same delivery fee while receiving cold food that has been delayed due to other deliveries. Whenever my meal arrives after someone else's, it's always cold, which is disappointing. After contacting customer service, I was advised to rate the delivery person poorly, but I don't think this is a solution. It's frustrating to know the restaurant's location and how long it should take for my food to reach me, only to have it delayed by additional stops. Each route should be tailored to ensure prompt delivery. It would be more respectful to seek permission from customers before adding extra stops to their delivery route. Having to eat cold food due to others' orders is not ideal. If deliveries are combined without consent, customers should have the option for a refund. Currently, I'm waiting for my food, which has been delayed for 30 minutes, likely resulting in a cold meal. I appreciate the convenience of Uber Eats, but this delivery practice has made it challenging to enjoy my meals as they arrive cold. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

On Saturday evening at 12:34 AM, I ordered Subway through Uber Eats. My order included a chicken and bacon ranch melt and a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich, totaling $25.95. I paid the delivery driver in cash and provided a $3 tip, but my debit card was still charged the full amount. I'm seeking a refund on my debit card since I already paid in cash. Yesterday, I scheduled order # 0464C for a breakfast today between 8:00-8:30 am. At 7:30-7:40 am, I received an update that the order was being prepared, but it ended up being delayed and arrived around 8:40 am, nearly 9:00 am. This caused an issue as the breakfast was a birthday surprise for someone who needed to be at work by 9:00 am. Due to the delay, I placed another order, # [redacted], from a different restaurant. I would like a refund for one of the orders since I had to pay for both due to the delay in delivery. It seems the issue was with the restaurant, not the Uber driver. Thank you.

I'm experiencing a recurring issue while attempting to place an order through this specific app. The error message claims my payment method is invalid, although other apps process it correctly. Despite reaching out for assistance six times, the problem remains unresolved. During one call, I was informed that having my card linked to two accounts might be the root cause. Consequently, I removed the card from one account and attempted the transaction again without success. Good morning, I placed my order on November 24, [redacted], and forgot to update the delivery address. When the UberEats delivery person arrived, he had the old address. Despite my immediate correction on the phone with the restaurant, the food was sent to the wrong location. After much back and forth, the food was returned to the restaurant. I have been waiting for the delivery for three hours with no success. I contacted UberEats customer service, and they mentioned a refund within 1-2 business days. My partner and I experienced repeated delivery time issues with Uber Eats, prompting us to switch to Skio the Dishes. Hoping for better service, I decided to give Uber Eats another try by ordering sushi nearby tonight. Over an hour has passed, and my order status remains "finding a driver." I recently made a delivery to McDonald's but mistakenly sent it to the wrong address. Upon realizing the error, I contacted McDonald's to rectify the situation as they assured me they would. Later, I received a call from the Uber driver, Nikolila, who was quite rude. She insisted that she wasn't delivering my order and blamed me for the mistake. Nikolila couldn't provide information on obtaining a refund or where the food would go. She advised me to contact Uber Eats but didn't give a number. This left me frustrated as I was left without food and without a refund. I am very disappointed with how unprofessionally this issue was handled. Please reach out to me promptly regarding a refund.

I ordered 2 mutton biryanis from Arsalan Hatibagan branch through Uber Eats at 8:00 p.m. on 05/12/[redacted]. I was informed via SMS that my order would arrive by 8:42 p.m. Opting for doorstep delivery, I had been home since 6:00 p.m. but did not receive my order by 9:30 p.m. Shortly before that, I received an SMS claiming I was not home, even though I was. The delivery person did not attempt to call me, and I understand that he may have had difficulty finding my home. This experience has left me extremely displeased with Uber Eats, and I now believe that other food delivery apps are superior. This will be my last order with Uber Eats, and I will not recommend their services to others. Thank you.

Good evening, I recently placed my first order through Uber Eats and encountered an issue with the delivery. I ordered biryani on Friday, November 30th, with order number ECA56. I tried to cancel the order, but was informed by your representative that it was not possible. I was later told to pay the full amount to cancel it. Despite this, I requested delivery again. After being informed that the pickup had already left for delivery, the order was delivered, and I paid Rs. [redacted] in cash for order number ECA56 on that same day. Today at 12.17pm, I received an order from 'Hungry Indian, [redacted] Blaxland Rd, Ryde NSW' which had the wrong delivery address. Despite following the GPS on the app, I ended up delivering to the wrong location in North Ryde, NSW. The customer provided the correct address, so I had to drive an extra 3km to deliver the order. I have been unable to apply a promo code since the day I installed the app. When attempting to find assistance in the help section, it indicates a violation of the terms and conditions, which I believe I have not done. The promo codes have not been working since the beginning and I'm unsure why. I have tried to reach out to Uber Eats multiple times without success. Many other food delivery apps offer discounts, but I prefer Uber Eats and just want to understand why I am unable to use their services without any wrongdoing on my part. I hope to receive a response soon, but if not, I will explore other apps that provide better service. Thank you.

Hello, I am requesting a FULL refund for an order I placed on December 1st with the order number E403A. Initially, I made a mistake with the address and promptly contacted the driver to provide the correct one. The driver then cancelled my order after payment, assuring me that the food would arrive within 15 minutes. Despite ordering at 8:53 PM, I had to make multiple calls to the restaurant to obtain the driver's contact number as he was unresponsive via the app. Despite numerous call attempts with my friends, the driver rejected our calls. By 10 PM, we had to order from a different restaurant after the driver assured a mere 15-minute delay. It was not until 10:45 PM that the driver delivered cold, soggy, and stale Subway sandwiches. I insist on a full refund for this disappointing experience. Additionally, I want to highlight that I am a loyal customer of yours.

I placed an order for food expecting it at 2pm, but it's now 3:02pm and the order number is [redacted]. The constant delays are frustrating as it hasn't even been picked up yet. It's disheartening that it's taking so long. This delay may result in cancellation due to time or the food arriving cold. We ordered during a break between classes so there might not be enough time to eat it soon. The only option for feedback seems to be canceling the order, but after waiting for over an hour, it's discouraging to consider ordering something else.
