I placed an order at **:**Am today for bamboo Asian bistro. It was listed on the section of places “under ** minutes”. I am a pharmaceutical sales rep who was doing an in service lunch with drs who take lunch from **-*pm. I even called the restaurant once I placed the order at **:**am to make sure they can get it ready by ** pm as I explained the importance of the timing situation. They said that is no problem. I called at **:** to check on the status, they said “finishing up now”. I reminded them of the time frame and this needed to get done. I called again at **:**, they said “it’s finished and they’re waiting for driver” I never saw a driver pick up the order on my app. I called again at **:**, they said “driver not available” I asked the restaurant to call the driver, they said “they called and driver not answering”. I still did NOT see a driver pick up the order from my app and the time continuing to get pushed back. By this point, over an hour late mind you, the drs are furious. I called the restaurant and told them I will come get the order personally. They called me * minutes before I arrive to tell me an Uber driver is there. I told them do not give the food to them because I was almost there. I got the food, and got back to the office at *:**pm. Because of your service, I am now no longer allowed to do lunches at this office and will lose business because of something that was ***% the fault of the restaurant and your delivery service. There is zero communication between your drivers and these restaurants. The time frames have been nothing short of inconsistent. I’ve used uber eats often for business and there is a lot of issues with communication. I placed an order at **:**am under the “** min and under” category and the ONLY reason I got the food is because I had to drive myself there and bring it back at *:**. That’s almost * hours later. I would appreciate a credit on my account for the price of this meal as I have now lost the business and respect of this office because of your services negligence.
