I attempted to place an Uber Eats order from a McDonald's * blocks away from my apartment at *:**am today, August **. It is now nearly half past *am and at this point I have spoken to two uber representatives, have a dead phone and zero food to show for it. After the first call (which I placed a full hour past the original delivery estimate) a representative kindly contacted the delivery person and reported back that he'd already arrived at the pickup location and was headed my way. Clearly, however, that did not happen. On the contrary, another ** minutes later I received a cancelation notification and a call from another Uber representative who informed me that my card was not charged for the order, as if that were to somehow make up for this fiasco. Honestly, I cannot remember a time when I have been more angered or inconvenienced by a delivery service. "Cancelling" the charge for an order that was never delivered in the first place is nowhere good enough. I look forward to hearing from someone as soon as possible.**Best,*Amanda
