I have already complained about this on the app. I ordered food, a gyro burger from manny and Olga’s in Bethesda, MD. with specific instructions for my food to come to my apartment door(as it always does). Being that is it was late, I was hungry so I was regularly checking on the order. My driver never bothered coming upstairs to my apt, in fact I saw him leave my apt, and then I had to call*text him to come back. He came back, and the asked where I was, I told him that your supposed to come to my apartment, he was being rude..so I said I would come down. When I came down he didn’t even meet me in the lobby literally right infront of him. There’s even a sign. I never saw him leave his car, as I am leaving the lobby doors to get my food he drives off. I yelled but he kept going, and cancelled my order. Then I get a notification from the app saying I’ll be charged for a no show...I mean why would any one not want to pick up the food they’ve ordered. I came down from my apt to make it easy for him, although I’m the one paying for the service. In his defense he did call, but I was on another call. But the whole time I was communicating with him on the app( you can even see the transcripts). He didn’t even wait for me * minutes before he left the first time. This whole thing happened in under * minutes. My account has been charged, although the Uber eats app says that I haven’t been. I want a full refund. The drivers name was Yuri, lacked patience and was very rude. If I could give him less than a one star I would because this is unacceptable! I was really hungry and I wanted my food, and it was at midnight. Where else am I supposed to get food delivered at this hour. What if I were disabled and couldn’t come down. You need to do more to vet some of these drivers. I usually order from Ubereats, although I usually don’t rate some of my drivers, that’s because they service was satisfactory, in this case it was horrible. I would rather have my food than my money at this point, but since I don’t have my food I need a full refund!
