Last night, I requested an Uber for 10:10 pm, but the driver arrived at 10:00 pm and departed by 10:15 pm, leaving me stranded at a grocery store in the dark. As a 62-year-old, this was very unsettling, especially with intoxicated individuals nearby. I reached out to Uber via text, clarifying my scheduled time, but was still charged for the full ride. I believe it's crucial that I receive a refund for this negligence. Times like these make me question the basic courtesy that should come with services like this.

I am disappointed in the lack of customer service provided by this company. They accepted my payment but do not have a functioning customer service phone line. I plan to report this to the BBB as it is concerning to see such a large company unable to offer adequate customer support.

I recently booked a round trip Uber ride with a fare of almost $17. Upon reaching the first stop, I informed the driver I would be back within the three-minute window. However, I was surprised to receive a review notification as he had already left. I was then forced to pay an additional $28 to get home, which was unacceptable. This has never happened to me in all my years as an Uber rider. The driver's behavior was disrespectful, and I was disappointed. I accidentally gave him a 5-star review when I intended to give him only one star. I would appreciate a refund of the $28 or, at least, an explanation. Hello, my name is Shayan Chakraborty. Today, on June 9, [redacted], I booked an Uber at 8:48 from Dhapa Masjid to Jogendra Nagar in Sodepur. The agreed price was [redacted]. However, the driver initially refused to come and then demanded [redacted], mentioning he wouldn't get any more customers from that area. Upon arrival, he asked me to cancel the trip and dropped me off. The journey took 1 hour and 30 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes. The driver then charged an extra [redacted] Rs for the extended time. Despite explaining that it was an emergency and I couldn't afford the extra charges, he insisted I pay and left. I would appreciate some assistance and a refund for the excessive amount charged due to the situation. I hope that drivers in the future can behave more professionally and not take advantage of passengers.

I had scheduled an Uber in advance for 5:30 pm on June 8, [redacted], to take my husband, who has Parkinson’s Disease, and me to a dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with over 30 others. I contacted our gate to ensure the Uber driver's access. Shortly before 5:30 pm, I noticed on the app that the driver was far away and not en route. After attempting to communicate with the driver unsuccessfully, I saw on the app that we wouldn't arrive at our destination until 6:30 pm, an hour later than expected. Given the circumstances, I had to cancel the ride and drive my husband myself, risking his safety as I had no assistance. I believe the $3 cancellation fee should be waived due to the significant delay caused by the Uber driver. While I have had positive experiences with Uber in the past, this incident was extremely disappointing. I request a prompt resolution to this issue.

This morning at 10 am, I attempted to book an Uber ride to Cambridge Markets at Moore Park. After confirming the ride, I encountered an issue with adding my payment method via Paypal. Despite selecting my Visa card, I received an error message regarding the Paypal account. This same problem occurred on May 31st when I tried to book a ride to Edgecliff. I emailed but have not received a response yet. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me regarding this payment issue. Thank you.

On 6/11/21, I utilized the app to benefit from the free ride program to and from my Covid vaccination appointment. My journey to CVS for the shot went smoothly, but when I tried to book a return ride home post-vaccination, no drivers were available through the app. Despite relying on Uber as a senior citizen with distant family, I had to opt for a $14.66 Lyft ride home due to the lack of Uber drivers. The promotion offering a free ride for getting vaccinated led to unexpected expenses. Feeling let down by Uber during a critical moment, I was left stranded in extreme heat after my 1:00 appointment. Can you provide compensation for the ride I had to pay for using an alternative service, as I feel neglected by Uber in this situation? Thank you.

I recently purchased a $75.00 gift card for Uber on Friday evening and also had a balance of $9.00, which should have left me with a total of $84.00. However, when trying to order a ride, after adding the gift card to my account, I am prompted to confirm my payment method even though I already paid with the gift card. I am confused as to why I am unable to request a ride with the credit I have on my account. If Uber is holding onto my $84.00 without allowing me to use it for rides, I would like to request a refund of that amount. I loaded the credit onto my account for my vacation and will need rides when I head back home. If there are any issues preventing me from using Uber rides, I would appreciate receiving the full $84.00 back.

I have noticed a concerning trend with the drivers where they falsely claim passengers are not wearing masks when in reality they are. This happened to my mother's Personal Support Workers (PSWs) who always wear double masks and visors. They were denied rides due to the drivers' inability to find the location, not because of mask issues. This is very distressing as they are diligent about their PPE. Moving forward, we hope this will not recur, but we would like to know what steps to take if it does.

I experienced two rides today where I was charged a $1.64 Wait Time fee despite being ready before the car's arrival. The driver did not wait for me, but the fee was applied anyway. According to Uber's website, a wait time fee should only start a few minutes after the driver arrives. The inconsistency in charging this fee needs to be addressed, and refunds issued. This inaccurate practice seems like a way to add small charges unnoticed. It's frustrating and needs to be corrected for a fair experience.

On June 6, [redacted], at 4:57 pm, I arranged for an Uber ride from my home at [redacted] Genesta Ave, Encino, CA to LAX on June 10, [redacted] at 5 am. The initial charge of $42.19 went through on my Chase credit card ending in [redacted]. However, on the morning of the 10th, the Uber didn't arrive. I attempted to book the ride again and got charged $[redacted].00 on the same credit card. Once more, the Uber didn't show up. This pattern of failing to fulfill promised pick-ups is concerning. I discovered online that the lack of Uber drivers is a widespread issue causing similar problems for many. To resolve this, I seek a refund of $42.19 and $[redacted].00 promptly to my Chase credit card. I am also informing Chase that I am disputing these charges. Sincerely, Gena Ruszecki.

I arranged a delivery through the Uber App within Jaipur City on June 22, [redacted]. The driver, Mr. Vishram Lal, picked up the parcel from my house at 1:30 pm, but he failed to deliver it to the destination at NRI Colony, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, and disappeared. Despite reaching out to Uber for help, the only response I received was the contact number [redacted] for Driver Vishram Lal. Uber did not take any further action to resolve the issue. I trusted Uber's safety measures for the delivery, but they let me down. This situation has damaged consumer confidence and I believe Uber should be prohibited from offering parcel delivery services due to this negligence. I have also heard of similar incidents from others who have faced problems with Uber's delivery service. It seems like there may be collusion happening between drivers and Uber, so I advocate for discontinuing Uber's parcel service.

Good morning, Yesterday around 6:45 a.m., I booked a ride in Atlanta for my sister from Marriott Marquis to [redacted] Baker Ferry Road. However, there were some issues with the driver. Initially, I had difficulty understanding him due to his unclear speech while wearing a mask on the phone. After he picked up my sister, he took her to the wrong address even though the correct one was provided. During the ride, he engaged in unnecessary conversation and took a longer route, resulting in a higher fare of $56 instead of the agreed $20. After contacting support, I was told the charge would be corrected, but instead, I woke up to a charge of $68. Please rectify this error promptly. Bonjour, Je souhaite signaler que mon compte a été désactivé injustement. On prétend que j'ai créé 4 comptes doublons et que j'ai eu des activités illégales, ce qui est totalement faux. J'ai réinitialisé mon téléphone en juin [redacted]. Lorsque j'ai réinstallé l'application Uber Driver, j'ai rencontré des problèmes pour recevoir un code à 4 chiffres nécessaire pour me connecter. Malgré mes multiples tentatives auprès du support pour résoudre ce problème, je n'ai pas reçu d'assistance pendant plus de 3 jours. J'ai donc créé un nouveau compte avec une nouvelle adresse e-mail pour fusionner mes données et pouvoir travailler à nouveau. I had a concerning experience with my driver who claimed the brakes were not working. Despite my observation that the brakes were functioning properly, he insisted on dropping me off at a shopping center and then changed his mind and drove me home, causing me to be over an hour late for work. This delay caused me to miss important information during my second week of training, impacting my job performance. I am requesting a full refund of $8.46 for the ride, as well as an additional $17 for the hour of work I missed. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing regarding my trip on 01st July'21, which was supposed to be a free ride using promotion code 10M21V for visiting a vaccination center. However, the driver asked me to pay at the end of the journey. I booked a ride from my home to the Healthcare center opposite Oberoi Mall for my Mom's vaccination at Rs [redacted], but the driver arrived late due to difficulty locating the pickup point. Upon arrival, I was charged Rs [redacted], despite booking for Rs [redacted]. The driver explained the extra charges were due to waiting time and booking fees. I paid to avoid being late for the vaccination appointment but feel the additional charges were unfair. I made a booking on 11 June [redacted] at 1:19pm from GMC Nagpur to Aroma Girls Hostel Hingna. Two of us were in the cab, and we deviated 2 kilometers to drop off my friend. The driver then became agitated and at the end of the trip demanded [redacted] rupees instead of the actual fare of [redacted] rupees. Despite this, I paid the [redacted] rupees without checking the fare on the mobile and the driver still marked the trip as unpaid the next day. I am disappointed by this behavior from Uber's service. I have been trying for a while to contact someone from Uber without any success. I even submitted a complaint about the extra cash paid, but it did not resolve the issue.
