On September **th, I took an uber ride from downtown Columbia to my friends apartment on Pendleton Street and along the ride my friend got sick and showed visible signs of nausea* upset stomach. I asked the driver to pull over twice in desperation as I know there is a hefty charge when one vomits in an uber. However, she couldn’t wait any longer and before the uber driver could stop and pull over, she vomitted on the back car seat. On a scale to * to **, I would say it was a * with ** being the worst. It didn’t take long for the uber driver to clean the mess, he even said it was fine, it was very clear discharge and hardly needed a cleanup however it got on the car seat and that need to be cleaned asap. I would like the $*** charge to be dismissed on my card from this ride because a) the mess wasn’t even bad to begin with so I shouldn’t have been charged $*** to begin with and b) I asked the uber driver to pull over twice and he could explicitly hear her grunting and showed signs of nausea so this could have been prevented if he would’ve pulled over and c) the mess she created was hardly any mess- as my uber driver himself said it wasn’t a big deal. I would like this charge to be dismissed because the mess only required a few paper towels and some bleach to soak up the vomit which was clear and I should not have been charged $*** for this petty mess. Thanks.
