I left my phone in my Uber's car. Checked it's location this morning & it said it was in Newark, NJ (** minutes from where I live). Got ahold of the driver and she proceeded to tell me she was now in Maryland. She said that she could get someone else to get it to me but that they were in PA and would charge $*** to drop it off. I advised her I could go pick it up and she then asked how much lower I could afford to have someone drop it off. I proceeded to tell her the phone's location was in newark this morning and now the phone was off. She got mad at this and said then maybe she doesn't have my phone. I described it again, comfirmed her name matched my drivers name from last night and she confirmed she had found a phone in her backseat and would call me back. Hasn't called me back or answered any of my phone calls or texts since bringing up that the phone's location was in newark. Also bringing up that her phone number came up as newark nj as well.
I trust that Uber will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
