Twitter's age policy requires users to be at least 13 years old. Despite this, there was a glitch that kept my birth year as [redacted]. Today, I tried changing it to [redacted], as I am 13 years old. I updated my name but was immediately locked out of my account for supposedly violating the terms and conditions. Even though I am the appropriate age, Twitter insists on a verification process that I am unable to complete as I am staying at a friend's place without any official documents. Since I am unable to access my account, I am unable to interact with important accounts like @BTS_twt, which is frustrating. I hope this issue can be resolved soon.

Hello, my name is Ryan V, also known as Sinnoh. My account got locked right after Smash and Splash ended this month due to unknown reasons. Twitter claims there was an unauthorized attempt to access my account, but it was just me using Twitter on both my computer and phone simultaneously, which I frequently do. However, I am now being instructed to change my password to regain access. Unfortunately, every time I click on the "Reset My Password" option, it redirects me back to the "Login Issues" page on the Twitter Support website across all my devices. I don't have my email linked to my Twitter account, but I've removed synchronization with other accounts, yet the issue persists. Although my phone number is linked to the account, Twitter is unable to locate it during the login process, only recognizing my username. I am left with no choice but to seek assistance from Twitter Support to reset my password and send it to me via email or text message.

I've had this account for over 3-4 years, but I wasn't the original creator, so someone else's birthdate was on it. I couldn't change the birth year to my correct year which is "Nineteen Ninety-Eight" from "Ninety-Seven." Finally, last week, I was able to update my birth year to my actual year, which is June Twenty-first. However, after making the change, Twitter flagged me for not meeting the age requirement, even though I'm twenty and have been using this account for a few years now.

Upon realizing I should update my birthdate to my actual age of 18 on my Twitter account, I encountered an unexpected issue. After making the minor correction, I was promptly locked out due to not meeting the age requirement for account holders. I distinctly recall creating the account at either 13 or 14, post my 13th birthday when I obtained my first phone. As the current policy mandates users to be at least 13 years old, I believe I comply with the rules. I am concerned about the numerous reports indicating challenges faced in reclaiming accounts after submitting ID verification. While I am not overly worried about losing followers or past tweets due to inactivity from when I was around 17, I am anxious about losing my followed accounts and liked content, which hold significance for me. I seek assistance in reinstating access to my account and preserving my connections and preferences. Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, My name is Garrett Greenfield, and my username is @gmoneyphd on Twitter. Recently, my account was locked by your team stating that I was under 13 years old when creating it. I have already submitted my state-issued government ID through your report form to confirm that I was of the correct age when I set up my account. It's been more than 24 hours, and I haven't received any feedback on this matter. I rely on Twitter for personal and professional purposes, as I've been using it for over a year to promote both my employer's and my own interests. Having my account locked has caused significant disruption for me. I have attempted to contact your support team through various channels with no success. I am hopeful that this issue can be resolved promptly. Please advise on the necessary steps to verify my age and have my account reinstated to its normal status.

I have a long-standing Twitter account that I rarely used during my time in Prague from [redacted] to [redacted]. My previous Skype-In number ended in [redacted], which I let go a few years ago. My username was @GoodyPrague, and my profile picture shows me sitting in front of three mugs of Czech draft beers. When I first registered my account, I used the email [redacted] However, my iPhone 6+ was hacked, and I lost access to my Google account. I briefly accessed it a year or two ago before losing my list of passwords for various apps a few months back. My current phone number on my iPhone X is [redacted], and my new email is [redacted] I would greatly appreciate your assistance in helping me regain access to my only Twitter account, whether by sending an iMessage or emailing me a link or temporary password. I prefer not to create a new username and would be grateful for any help you can provide to this occasionally forgetful 73-year-old. Thank you, Lawrence (Larry)

Our business account @BrookesCareers needs verification to promote tweets, but Twitter locked us out due to a wrong founding date inputted by our Marketing staff. This mistake has caused us to be locked out for being underage. Despite having over 2,[redacted] followers and scheduled tweets, we are now losing business opportunities. We are eager to prove that our company and all staff members are above the required age. We seek guidance to restore access to our valuable account promptly.

I accidentally created the @briacell account under the impression it was for a minor, but it was actually for Briacell Therapeutics Corp. Due to mistakenly using the date of inception as the date of birth, the account has been locked. I am now handling responsibilities for the corporation and am seeking assistance to regain access to the account. Please remove the incorrect date of birth information to unlock the account. For communication, feel free to contact me at [redacted] (Farrah Dean, Manager Corporate Development) or through the emails [redacted] or [redacted] as they are all redirected to me. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Warm regards, Farrah Dean, Manager, Corporate Development, Briacell Therapeutics Corp.

After attempting to update my birthday on Twitter to August 4, [redacted], I found myself locked out of my account. Despite being 16 years old now and approaching 17 in a month, I don't possess a government-issued ID, which is necessary to unlock the account. Unfortunately, I can't reach out to Twitter support via direct messaging since I'm unable to log into my account. Although I was above 13 when I created the account and currently meet the age requirements, I lack a passport or driver's license for verification purposes.

I opened my Twitter account many years ago, and am uncertain of the exact date. I'm now 21 and actively use the platform daily, where I have stored numerous pictures and memories over the years. Recently, I updated my birth date to November 20, [redacted], which led to my account being locked because it claimed I wasn't of age when I created the account. While I believe I was around 12 at the time, I don't think it's fair to be punished for actions from my childhood. Being locked out means I can't access all the memories I've accumulated. This situation feels very unjust and upsetting to me. As I approach turning 22, I hope Twitter can consider my perspective and see how important these memories are to me. Your understanding and review of my case would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I discovered that @emmylouxvx has been stealing photos and information from my Instagram @_cherryscentedchecks to impersonate me on Twitter. This imposter falsely claimed that I moved to Florida and am single, which is not true; I am in a relationship and live in Missouri. They attempted to sell unauthorized nudes and posted racist and offensive tweets. I reached out to her followers to clarify the situation, and many reported being harassed by this person. I confronted the imposter and took screenshots of the fraudulent content before it was deleted. I have reported this individual multiple times to Twitter, provided my government ID, and my friends and followers have also reported the account. Despite these efforts, Twitter has not responded to my emails. I am eager for a resolution and will seek legal assistance if necessary to address this unauthorized use of my identity.

My Twitter account is @andreagonzaIez, with an uppercase I instead of an L. I encountered an issue when attempting to update my birthday, resulting in my account being locked until I verify I'm over 13 years old. I submitted a photo of my ID proving my age around 5 days ago on Monday, June 25th, but I haven't received a response yet. I'm eager to regain access to my account and am willing to provide any additional age verification needed. It's important to note that my Twitter account is currently locked, not disabled.

I attempted to create a Twitter account a while back when I was under 13 years old. My brother made the account for me with our parents' approval. After returning and updating my birth date to the correct one, I got locked out. This is devastating as my Twitter presence is crucial for my career goals. I am willing to pay any necessary fees to regain access. Please, I urgently need my account back.

Hello, I have an issue with my Twitter account. I have been an active user for a long time, possibly creating it before I turned 13. The account was initially used as a fan page by a group of us, so the birth year was set to [redacted], even though I was born in [redacted]. As I recently turned 18, I tried to update my age on the account, but I got locked out due to the age restriction. All the content on my account is from when I was over 13, as I took it over from my friends. I can provide proof of my age but I am worried about losing the account permanently. I would appreciate speaking to someone to resolve this and avoid losing access. I rely on this account daily and hope to rectify the situation without facing any consequences. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

For the past few years, there has been ongoing harassment from an individual posting violent, racist, and sexist content, including profanity and encouraging violence against non-white individuals. Despite blocking and ceasing communication, the person continues to use the full name of the writer in posts, affecting their attempts to secure employment due to the visibility of the harassment. Numerous reports have been made regarding this behavior, yet no actions have been taken by the platform. The writer is now considering involving the police if the issue is not addressed. The user account in question, @TBGoDeeds, consistently spreads hateful content and harasses innocent individuals online. The writer is seeking assistance in having the account reviewed and potentially removed to prevent further harm. The situation has been ongoing since [redacted], with multiple users impacted by this individual's actions. Desperation for a resolution is expressed, as the writer hopes to end the nightmare of harassment caused by this individual.

My Twitter account was temporarily locked because I created it before the age of 13. I tried to verify my identity by submitting my birth certificate, as I don't have a government-issued ID. Unfortunately, Twitter responded that the identification was insufficient. When I resubmitted, they claimed the issue was about my email access, not the account lock. I'm frustrated and confused why I can't reach a human representative for help. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I updated my birthday on Twitter to my actual birthday after having the account for six years. However, my account, @13Blynn, has been locked for over a month now. The suspension occurred right after I changed my birthday, as Twitter flagged me for being underage when I originally created and used the account. I had to verify my age by sending a picture of my driver's license. After a few weeks, Twitter sent an email saying the issue was resolved. When I logged in, I encountered a popup about privacy updates. I agreed to the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Use, confirming my age over 13, but I faced an error message when I tried to proceed. I've been trying to fix this for over a month, reaching out to Twitter multiple times with no resolution. I appreciate any assistance with this ongoing problem. Thank you for your attention.

I recently deactivated my account, and now, within 30 days, I'm trying to reactivate it. However, I'm facing difficulties accessing it. After attempting to reset my password and clicking on the link provided in the email, I'm redirected to a page stating my password has already been reset. Despite reaching out to Twitter thrice, I receive a standard email indicating that a password reset link will be sent, leading me back to the same message that my password has been reset. I find it disappointing that a company focused on communication lacks effective communication channels, leaving me unable to reach them via phone for assistance.

My Twitter account was locked due to an age restriction issue. My account was actually created by my mother when I was under 13, as she was over the required age. Despite multiple attempts to update my birthday, the account remained locked. It is crucial for me to regain access to my account as I am currently being scouted for football and need to communicate with coaches. I have shared my Twitter handle with numerous schools and coaches, and it is essential in my recruitment process. Creating a new account is not an option as I risk missing important scholarship opportunities without access to my original account.

I am Menachem Moshe L. During my college years, some roommates created a Twitter account under my name without my full consent. Unfortunately, the account contains inappropriate content. Searching for "Moshe Liss Twitter" will bring up this account. As it is not mine, I am unable to access it to remove the content. This fake account could harm my professional reputation. I kindly request the deletion of the account. If that is not possible, please provide me with the linked email address information. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
