I've used Turbo Tax for years without a glitch, but I worked on my taxes for over * hours yesterday and all went well UNTIL...it was time to file them. This was about *:** p.m. The program would not allow me to chose the option to pay $**.** for the state tax. In fact, I was unable to proceed to checkout because the program did not even have a "back" button available. The other option was to have $**.** deducted from my refund, which I did NOT want to happen. I called Turbotax and "chatted" with an agent for over an HOUR, trying to figure out the problem...and she finally suggested that I clear the cookies and reboot my computer. I instead called GeekSquad through Best Buy (I have an account there) and the agent cleaned up my computer and told me to try later after rebooting again. By this time, it was after *p.m. I had wasted hours working on the issue. Finally, a screen appeared verifying my address*phone and things looked normal, but I was NOT asked for my credit card number before the system told me my work had been accepted and to expect my refund to be sent to my bank......I checked my credit card info online this morning and the $**.** was not paid to turbotax by credit card. I want to have this issue resolved by paying $**.** for my state refund, and do NOT want $**.** taken from my refund. It's the principle of the matter! Thank you.
