I have received an email regarding my [redacted] Montana Personal tax return being rejected, and TurboTax is assisting me in updating and re-filing it. The rejection code indicated an issue with the federal return acceptance. I need assistance updating and re-filing my return, as it hasn't been a straightforward process on the platform. I would appreciate an agent emailing and then calling me to resolve the error and complete the filing. Thank you for your help.

I have been a loyal customer for years. I filed my [redacted] taxes using your Turbo Deluxe package. You thoroughly reviewed all my information before confirming it was accurate. After submitting, I have not yet received my tax refund. When I contacted the IRS, I was informed that there was an error in my return attributable to me, not your service. The IRS has now rectified the issue, but I must wait an additional two to three weeks for my refund. I am disappointed, as I was assured everything was correct when I used your service. Due to the delay caused by this error, I believe I am entitled to a refund of the fees I paid. If the mistake had been caught initially, I would have received my money sooner. Thank you.

I have been trying to get on a call back list for a couple of days, but I keep getting placed back on hold. I have been using TurboTax for several years to file my daughters' taxes without any charges. However, recently, when I completed one daughter's taxes and declined the upgrade, I was forced to choose the $49.99 option to proceed. Ultimately, she was charged $89.99. The following day, I filed my other daughter's taxes without any issues or unexpected fees. I am perplexed by the sudden charges as nothing has changed in how I file her taxes. She is single, and I only input her income to complete the process. I am hoping for an explanation regarding this situation. Thank you.

I have the Turbo Tax Advantage Premier disk which I received last year. I began entering my income tax information when more details arrived. Upon opening the program again, it prompted me to load new changes but I keep getting error [redacted] when trying to do so. This freezes the computer. Additionally, I encountered an issue entering information about charities as it doesn't allow me to add a second charity.
I would appreciate a new disk or the option to download the program. Thank you for your assistance.

I spent 8.5 days continuously with an agent from Gulf Shores, AL working on issues with my [redacted] tax return. The agent was very kind. However, I now have five listed returns on the screen and I am unable to e-file my [redacted] return. One return shows as accepted but I am unsure if the one marked as the "Absolutely final" return was filed and accepted on 3/5/[redacted]. I have been charged for the state return even though all were rejected. It is puzzling why there are five returns on the screen, with the February [redacted] return showing as accepted. Something seems amiss with my AOL mail on Windows 10. I would like to speak with a supervisor regarding this issue. I have received several case numbers for the [redacted] returns via email. Simplifying the process for customers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am using the CD Download version of TurboTax Deluxe for the [redacted] tax year which I purchased at Target.
While entering my income information manually, I keep getting an error message saying "Internal Error: An uncaught exception was raised..." I have tried restarting the application and re-entering the data, but I continue to face the same issue.
I am unsure of the best course of action to take to ensure I file my return accurately. Your guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I checked the status of my refund, and it indicated that the SS# on the form didn't match theirs. I contacted TT, and they mentioned that it shows my EIN. I'm confused about who to believe and frustrated that I wasn't informed of this earlier. I rely on this service to handle these issues, and the timing couldn't be worse as they are now closed. I need this resolved as soon as possible as I was anticipating the refund this week, and the lack of notification has left me extremely angry. Furthermore, I received an email stating that my TT case is closed without any prior communication about the issue – this is unacceptable.

I'm having trouble accessing my TurboTax [redacted] State account with Order number TTDC[redacted]5. The system says it cannot find my email, despite sending a confirmation email. I am stuck in a loop trying to set up the state portion due to constant prompts to buy, download, and install. Additionally, there was confusion when selecting the state version to purchase as both options had the same details but different names and prices. The lack of clear instructions and frustrating phone service have made this process very time-consuming and irritating.

I recently purchased the TurboTax Deluxe CD from Office Max, but after installation, I noticed that the CD does not contain the option for State Returns, which is essential for filing my California taxes. I have extensive experience with TurboTax and always had access to filing CA returns.
I am using TurboTax on a laptop with OS 10.11.6, which is not internet-connected. My main work computer is a MacPRO with OS 10.6.8. Is there a way to download the State Returns for California from the internet onto my MacPRO, transfer them to a Memory Stick, and then install on my laptop?
If downloading is not an option, I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed with filing my California taxes without the State Returns feature.
Thanks,
D. H.

I am frustrated with my experience using QuickBooks. I have been a long-time user and trusted Intuit; however, my recent encounter with TurboTax has left me incredibly disappointed. While filling out my tax forms, I encountered issues with the "savers credit," which forced me to upgrade to the deluxe edition for $19.99 to proceed, even though it should have been included. Despite my attempts to delete the unnecessary schedule 3 form, TurboTax failed to remove it, causing me immense frustration. Eventually, I reluctantly agreed to pay the extra fees, only to be surprised with a total charge of $[redacted] for e-filing my federal and state taxes. To make matters worse, the system auto-filled incorrect direct deposit information from a previous return, potentially causing a delay in my refund. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I feel the need to share my dissatisfaction with TurboTax's service.

Good morning,
I am a self-employed individual using TurboTax online and facing difficulty in electronically filing my taxes due to a software glitch related to form [redacted]. The error code F2210-[redacted] is indicating an issue regarding the waiver of the entire penalty section on Form [redacted], which I am unable to access to correct. Even though I do not owe anything and have actually overpaid with quarterly estimates, the system is prompting for a waiver explanation to be attached.
TurboTax released an update on 2/16/[redacted] for desktop users but not for online users like myself. I, along with other users, am seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly so we can proceed with filing our taxes without any hindrance. Kindly provide guidance on how to rectify this situation or have an agent reach out to me. Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Mike Murphy

While preparing my taxes for [redacted] using TurboTax on taxfreedom.com, I encountered an unexpected issue. Despite being eligible for free federal and state filing, I discovered that I needed to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe due to changes in coverage for capital gains/losses when using the [redacted] form. This requirement came as a surprise as I have always filed for free in previous years without any complications. Unfortunately, attempts to cancel, clear, or restart my return were unsuccessful after registering. The unexpected additional fees of $39.99 for TurboTax Deluxe and another $39.99 for state filing have left me feeling frustrated and misled. This experience has made me reconsider my long-standing loyalty to TurboTax, unsure if this issue stems from the software or a push for more revenue. Despite wanting to cancel my order, I find myself stuck in this situation.

While filing our [redacted] taxes, my spouse and I discovered a mistake in our [redacted] taxes where TurboTax doubled the property tax amount claimed. We observed that despite entering the correct amount, the software erroneously doubled it. This error was noticed while preparing this year's taxes as the claimed amount differed significantly from last year. We aim to rectify this mistake on our current taxes, although we may owe additional amounts and face potential penalties due to the error. We possess copies of the forms highlighting TurboTax's incorrect data entry in the worksheet. Seeking advice on how to proceed, should we be held liable for any penalties resulting from this issue? We can provide concrete evidence of the error and appreciate any guidance provided.

I am writing about support ID [redacted]98.
I am using the Turbotax desktop deluxe PC version. During my e-filing process, there was an issue with Form [redacted] that stated Box A was checked when it was not necessary due to no penalty. Despite this, the system advised entering an explanation in Box B of Form [redacted]. This has caused confusion as Form [redacted] is not relevant in my situation. The suggested code F2210-[redacted] advised me to file by mail as a workaround. This is not a satisfactory solution. I am concerned about the $19.99 charge for state filing and if I will be charged again if I use the electronic filing system once the glitch is resolved. I have been waiting for a call back for three hours now, initially scheduled within one hour.

After updating TurboTax, I completed my taxes without any errors according to the review. When I tried to e-file, I encountered an issue. The problem seems to stem from Schedule 5 where I input my Estimated Tax payments. Even though the calculations on the [redacted] form are accurate, an unexpected form [redacted] appeared without showing the payment. This discrepancy is frustrating as I have spent six hours on this without any previous problems using TurboTax. Dorothy

On February 20th, [redacted], I used Turbo Tax to file my taxes. After entering my credit card details, right before submitting, it prompted me to "sign in" to my Intuit account. Trying to update my email on file led to being "locked out" for almost 2 hours, preventing me from filing. I had to re-enter my info, input my credit card again, and then I could finally submit. Checking my credit card statement today, I noticed Turbo Tax charged me twice. I accept one charge but seek the removal of the duplicate charge. Thank you for promptly addressing this issue.

I had my taxes done in [redacted] by a person named Vita. It seems like she mistakenly included someone else's property on my tax return Form [redacted], causing issues. Although I initially received $1,[redacted].10, the IRS later informed me of a $1,[redacted].55 debt. This year, I filed on February 13, [redacted], anticipating a $2,[redacted] refund, but only received $96.94, which was disappointing. Since engaging Vita's services in [redacted], my refunds have been consistently lower. I contacted the IRS hotline and was informed that $1,[redacted] from my refund was diverted to cover a previous tax obligation. I am unsure of the next steps to take. Every year, my refunds are insufficient to support myself and my son listed on the tax form. I am seeking advice from a reliable tax professional to rectify these ongoing issues with my tax returns to secure a more accurate refund going forward.

I was disappointed when I discovered midway through filing my "FREE, FREE, FREE" [redacted] taxes that it wasn't actually free. I was quickly informed that this year it would cost $39.99 for each state and federal return. However, what really bothered me was the lack of clear information about an extra charge to process my $39.99 payments from my federal refund. While this might have been in the agreement I signed, it wasn't as obvious as the initial fees. I feel that slipping in this charge without proper notification is dishonest. I won't be using your services again and I intend to inform others about this sneaky and greedy practice.

Unfortunately, I had a frustrating experience last year using TurboTax. It was my first time using the service, and despite having my calculations ready, I faced issues with my private pension plan tax deduction. I even upgraded to TurboTax Premier for assistance, but it was unhelpful. After spending 5 hours on my tax return, I had to submit incorrect calculations to Revenue Canada, resulting in me owing over $3,[redacted] instead of $[redacted]. Despite explaining my situation to TurboTax, I never received a response or a breakdown of the calculations.
Due to this ordeal, I opted to contact Revenue Canada directly for assistance with my pension tax receipt. They verified my calculations and resolved the issue. The stress from this experience made me hesitant to use TurboTax again this year, even with the 20% reduction offer. I believe I should receive a free TurboTax return for [redacted] given the challenges I faced last year. I hope that TurboTax lives up to its promises of ease and accurate calculations this time around.

My federal return was rejected due to an unexpected check mark on Form [redacted]. TurboTax's email instructed me to seek step-by-step help online, but when I tried, I couldn't find proper guidance. After searching the Help screen, I came across advice from another user on how to fix the issue by accessing Forms view, locating Form [redacted], clicking Override, and deleting the entry. I followed these instructions independently, eventually getting my return accepted.
TurboTax should investigate why this error occurs initially. I don't recall being asked about federal penalty waivers. Additionally, when offering assistance for rejected returns, TurboTax should provide clear and straightforward instructions.
I have been a long-time TurboTax user, and while this was my first issue, I hope it's the last.
Best regards,
Sheldon H.
