I missed my opportunity to write someone who only lives a mile from me (a very rare short distance) with no explanation that this could happen. I would like access to that match without having to pay for a plan. If it's a software issue, that's one thing. But if it was just a hidden rule, you should provide access just this once. So far I'm not at all happy with the way Tinder operates: nothing is spelled out anywhere.

To contact a match that I had received the previous day. ... I got a match yesterday and was very excited to contact her but didn't until the next morning when I attempted to contact the match her profile suddenly vanished. Every attempt that I have made to restore that line of communication keeps referring me to pay for some period of time. When I left the match page and came back, that particular match was gone and never again accessible for me to contact.
All I want is the access to the contact that I lost (her name is Sarah) and for someone to tell me why this happened so that I can at least be more careful the next time.
I only joined a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't sure that I wanted to stay because I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Tinder is not necessarily what I expected and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But I now have second thoughts about paying to stay because there is no consistency in what is promised or the efficiency of Tinder in general.
I've tried all ways of contacting someone from Tinder through this service. and all ways of recovering that contact through the site itself. I'm very upset because I've never had a match that I really approved of living so close to me (a mile)
