I used to be an avid Target shopper online. *I used to work at Target and was proud to be a team member and convince people that Target was "THE" place to shop*. Now I don't even like the changes you've made and don't enjoy shopping online. Just within the past two months, I have attempted to pay my bill online and sign into my account *including updating my email address*. I have had to change my password a minimum of * different times before it finally took. I'm sure when I pay my bill online again this month I will run into the same issue, but for now I can at least get onto the site. The other day I purchased a crockpot as a Christmas gift. I had a $** gift card stored in my wallet so I decided to use it and applied the $** as a credit towards my purchase. Everything went through and the total amount due after deducting that $** was $**.XX. Then there was a delay in shipping. Yesterday, * days after I ordered the product, I received an email saying that the product had shipped and my Red Card had been charged $**.**! It said that my gift card had been applied, yet the $** credit had been removed. I immediately went into my wallet and it said that my gift card had a zero balance, so if the gift card had been applied, where did the funds go? My $** credit was no longer on my order and I was being charged full price for my crockpot. So basically, Target deleted the gift card and charged me the full amount and said, "You already used your gift card. Sorry!" Yet, on the bottom of the receipt, it showed that the gift card was being used. So, I was gypped out of my $**. I went on chat and he didn't know what to do about it so he gave me a number to call the gift card specialist. He gave me a reference number and said that it had been applied. That's it. And in the meantime when I'm being charged full price and getting gypped out of my gift card amount?? And then we come to tonight. I was in need of a toaster, as mine decided to die on me. I came over to your website and found the one I wanted, put it in my cart and went to checkout. It would not let me check out. I was told I could not purchase the toaster because it only cost around $** and I needed to spend a minimum of $**. What the heck?? I shop at Target because your prices are affordable! Now you are forcing me to spend more money or I can't even checkout! Excuse my French, but that is complete and utter BULLSHIT!! If this is the way that you want to run your business, you will officially lose mine because I can go to Kohl's and buy a stinkin' toaster for a couple of dollars more, and they will be happy to ship it to me no matter if it costs $* or $** and I can stack promo codes on top of promo codes to get it. Your new practices are not just going to lose MY business, but you're going to lose the business of a LOT of people. Thanks for your time. I'm going to Kohl's to buy a toaster ...
