I went to pick up my son's phone that I had ordered for an upgrade for him and told him I was unable to pick it up since I was not an authorized user on the acct. The acct is in my parents name and I have been an authorized user for some time on this acct. I had just upgrade my other son's phone a few months prior without any problems. After arguing with the sales associate and getting nowhere, I asked to speak to the manager. The sales associate said he would get him but it wouldn't do any good. The manager comes out, and might I add, walks out from the back of the store with an arrogance about him. He really didn't give me a chance to explain anything and basically said I wasn't getting the phone since I wasn't an authorized user on the acct. I told him I was and had been for some time but because it wasn't showing on whatever screen he was looking at, he grabbed the phone and said what I wasn't getting the phone and proceeded to dismiss me. The guy was very rude and condescending and had absolute no interest in hearing me out or even trying to help resolve this. If this is the type of people Sprint hires to manage their store, it's a pity. *No wonder they get the complaints they do and people leave for other carriers. The store is located at **** Freedom Dr, Ste ***, Springfield IL *****. I, for one, will be switching carriers once my contract is up. After I get this resolved, I will be taking my kids off the other acct and moving them along to my acct. I am also inclined to file a complaint with the BBB. This particular manager is really doing harm to the Sprint name.
