trying to keep the scheduled and confirmed appointment ... I called to make repair appt. had to wait about * weeks until service available, and took the day off to be home for the service. I've received phone, email, and text confirmations for the appointment. ** hours before the appointment, I receive a text saying my appointment was changed to * weeks from the confirmed appointment! This is totally unacceptable to decide ** hours before the scheduled and confirmed appointment, that you are no longer assigning a repairman in my area on the agreed upon appointment date*time. i took the day off to be home for the repairman, as per * confirmations from the service*repairs department. 'My area" is ** miles from Syracuse and about ** miles from Auburn. A customer rep said that they will not be sending a repairman to 'my area' Fri ****! WHAT?!? Perhaps you would rather pay me the $***.oo I will lose by not working the day that I took off for repairs, that you choose to now cancel ** hours before the appointment because it is not convenient for you!? Totally unacceptable. Kenmore*Sears repairs needs to honor their contractually agreed upon repair date of ******* **:**-**:** even if they have to reroute a repairman from the next county. I asked if there was a repairman in the Syracuse area ****, and they said that they did not know, that the routing department went home for the day (likely right after dropping a text on me ** hours before my appointment!) It has been about * months now that my appliance is not working. Fix it ******** as scheduled and confirmed.
I took a day off from work. Now I am 'out $***.oo lost wages and they do not care that they confirmed the appointment * times, then ** hours from the appointment time drop a text on you saying that they no longer wish to honor THAT appointment time
they an make this right by having a repairman make the ** mile trip out to my home and maybe get the appliance fixed correctly this time. If the repairman cannot come out ****, I am off work on sat ****, perhaps they could have one come to 'my area' ** miles from Syracuse on ****. The appointment that they assigned to me is on **** which I am scheduled to work! :-( So Maybe come **** or ****.
been with sears *kenmore for about ** years, but I can see that they no longer want loyal or paying customers nor any ambassadors for their service departments
I've already had one appointment on Jan. ** and the softener was not fixed correctly at that time. I wonder if the solution is to warn all of my friends and acquaintances and all of my contacts on social media not to buy anything by sears or Kenmore, and CERTAINLY not to purchase a repair agreement from them, as they have no concern for your time or for you as any type of a valued customer. Perhaps legal counsel would find a problem with a * time confirmed contract for an appointment time, to be text-broken ** hours prior to the appointment because they did not feel like sending a repairman to you on the contracted date.
I have an issue with Sears too
