Hi, the brake kit I ordered ********** the right front caliper failed, brake fluid got on the wheel damaging the clear coat and speckling the paint down the right side.*I know there is no help for incidental damage, wheel, paint, so forth.*Fortunately I found it when it was parked, (fluid puddle) not under braking (certain brake failure) *I requested a refund, it was approved, but I have to pay $*.** to return it? (I intend to return both)*Now I have to pay shipping for a defective part? Really, that's policy? *I spent almost ** yrs in customer service, having to tell people the limits of policy, I very much understand this situation.*I did however at times, help people who I felt deserved it, Ford had a goodwill account where you could make a customer happy, NOT throwing money at a customer who would always be unhappy, but using it for customer loyalty on the customers who want to be happy.*So where this long drawn out email is going is, if by chance there is somebody there that has the ability to help a customer who wants to be happy, offering free shipping will be a good place to start.*As for the wrinkled up clear coat on my wheel and funky dull spots on the paint, how about this, I have to buy a lot of parts for this truck I recently bought, (went from a low mileage Honda to a high mileage Ford) maybe a reasonable discount on future purchases would be a consideration.*Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.*Mike.*(I can provide pics if you wish verification)
