I made car rental at London Heathrow airport through Priceline by ACE rental car vendor. The quote was *** GBP* (***-***-***-**) but upon arrival at the local agent called Green Motion I was told the one way charge, liability insurance was not added and the total came out to be closer to *** GBP. Just like any other rental car website, when I entered the one way rental return, it was reasonable for me to expect the estimate was based on such information. But the fact is, it is not the case. You should know how the unexpected cost almost ruined my family vacation as it blew out budget out of the water. I demand Priceline require your vendor clearly presents the cost breakdown (instead of hiding the cost in writing fine prints) and be transparent with the customer. Because at this moment, I don't feel safe booking through Priceline again. Apparently, this isn't the first time and there have been many frustrated customers before me. It is utterly a disgrace for Priceline to continue to work with broker like ACE car rental broker (and Green Motion) who is dishonest and has little regards to customer satisfaction. Here we are struggling to adjust spending to make things work for the rest of the trip, but who cares about our distress because of the irresponsible vendors that you use. Writing this complaint is about the only thing I can do. I hope Priceline will seriously investigate and take action against such deceptive practices to protect future customers and ensure their message of customer satisfaction still rings true.
