Stay * nights near North Miami Beach ... Regarding reservation ****-***-***-** June **-**, the Express Deal did not disclose a $** per night parking fee on top of the $*** nightly rate, nor the additional hotel taxes that effectively double the rate. I would rather book a Miami hotel on the mainland to avoid the four additional fees. I bought trip protection in case change was needed. How do I cancel this reservation with several hidden costs? I understand that normally Express Deals are non-refundable, but know from many years as your customer that there are rare exceptions. I’m going to Miami for a friend’s funeral and do not need extra expenses or complications.
The extra “Hotel Fee” of $** and $***day hotel parking make this deal not worth the cost. Many hotels on the mainland are available without the additional fees that together almost double the price of the room.
Refund my Express Deal
I’ve used Priceline almost every year for over a decade for our family of six
Tried chatting with PL, but agent insists no refunds, and says the trip insurance with Allianz’ “trip interruption” clause does not apply to volitional changes, only to documented health concerns that preclude us from traveling. (The latter is also bogus. My huband changed flights to attend his dying mother and Allianzwould not cover the cost of the new, more expensive, return home. Why bother with Allianz travel insurance when they refused to pay a legitimate claim. I tried for * months to navigate their red tape, only to be denied. I wonder how many thousands of customers Priceline and Allianz are ripping off. What a racket.
