I placed a custom order on the app and the postmate was unable to pay using their card so I paid the restaurant over the phone and then was charged again on the app.

Postmates.com doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman-jaronkep will need to dig through the advice provided by Postmates.com, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Here are some instructions we've written for similar issues- hopefully GetHuman-jaronkep can let us know if they help or not.
The issue in GetHuman-jaronkep's own words
Place a custom order which I was then charged twice for. ... I ordered a custom order with postmates last night. The restaurant I ordered from is not listed on the website so I placed an order using a restaurant which is close by to where I wanted to order from. The order was accepted and about **-** minutes later I was contacted by my postmates courier that their card was declined when trying to pay for the order. They tried a couple more times and were unable to pay for the order. I ended up having to use my card to pay the restaurant for the order over the phone. So I essentially was charged twice for my order. Once over the phone directly to the restaurant and then again by postmates. I would appreciate some recourse for this a refund for being charged twice.
I have done this several times before and never had an issue.
I would like a refund or credit to my account.
I have been a loyal postmate customer for several years.
