Today I ordered from Del Taco and was called a while after from the delivery driver stating that my card was not working, so as I was on the phone with him I looked into my account to check funds and there was no issue with that but I did notice a pending charge for **.**$. The delivery driver was unsure of what the charge was (since my order was approximately *$ from Del Taco). Del Taco ended up giving the driver my food for free. I was advised to cancel the order and at this point was upset with all of this so I told the driver to keep the order, paid the *$ to cancel an order that I never received, and immediately called my bank to get rid of the **.**$ charge on my card. I am extremely upset with how all of this went, as I frequently use Postmates, and will no longer be trusting of this service. I don’t understand why I was charged that amount then charged again to cancel something I never even received. The driver was kind and I have no issues with him, but I’m very upset that this was not resolved and that I had to get my bank involved.
