I recently left my job at the Popeye's in Crosby due to the unprofessionalism I witnessed. The workplace had issues with favoritism, an inexperienced assistant manager, and unfair treatment of employees. Two competent assistant managers were let go while the young assistant manager faced no consequences for his actions. There were problems with cleanliness, including roaches and sewer issues in the restroom. Cashiers neglected their duties, leaving tasks unfinished for others. Despite raising concerns multiple times, nothing was resolved, and there was a lack of managerial discipline. The assistant managers prioritized personal interactions over their responsibilities. Additionally, I was misled about my starting wage and felt overworked for inadequate pay. The job advertisement on Indeed was also misleading. The management seemed absent and quick to dismiss employees without proper training or support in place.

I would like to share my experience with a new outlet at AMK Hub regarding their service for free seating. Although it's a new location, the service I received was very disappointing. A young man challenged me for choosing a seat and directed me to sit somewhere else, even though there were empty tables in the back area. I was not allowed to sit at a table for 4 to 5 people, but I saw him sitting with colleagues at such a table, which seemed unfair. When I suggested sitting at a table for 2, he responded rudely. His attitude and tone made me uncomfortable, and I feel the staff should be trained better to provide good service and not drive customers away. This experience has made me question if I will return in the future.

I visited Popeyes in Melbourne, FL, and experienced multiple issues with my order. The fries were cold, the chicken sandwich was missing its bun, and the mac and cheese was burnt. Despite my disappointment, the staff was unable to correct the mistakes or provide a refund, directing me to contact corporate instead. I decided to leave the food behind and exit the establishment. While I understand the challenges of working in fast food, this experience left me extremely dissatisfied.

I recently visited the Popeyes in Liberty Township, Ohio. I waited in line for ten minutes, but when another customer came in, the waiter, Jackson, ignored me and served them instead. When I questioned it, Jackson rudely claimed he didn't see me. Asking for a manager, Sydney, came out and responded sarcastically about hiring me. I left without any food, feeling unwelcome. As a 68-year-old with a business degree and 50 years of business experience, no one in that store showed any knowledge of running a business. I am considering reaching out to the BBB. The lack of proper management in that store will prevent any employee from succeeding. Manager Sydney's poor attitude and demeanor will not lead to effective training. - Mike C.

I attempted to avail of your Christmas promotion around 5:00pm on 12-17-[redacted] at the N. Main St. location in Longmont, Colorado. Since the dining room was closed, I proceeded to the drive-thru. Despite trying to use the app, I encountered difficulties so I sought assistance from the employee at the window. He referred me to the manager, who tried to resolve the issue but was unable to help me make the app work. I expressed my frustration as I have been a long-time customer of Popeye's but was disappointed by the service on this occasion. Despite understanding the current labor challenges, I cannot overlook poor service when it involves my money. I may consider visiting Sonic, Chic-fil-A, or Arby's in the future instead. I wanted to share my experience and disappointment with Popeye's.

At Store [redacted] in Hawthorne, CA, my experience with worker Karla was unpleasant as she offered poor customer service. I ordered a 3-piece tender combo but faced delays as a new crew member arrived and Karla attended to her instead of customers. Despite bringing up my concerns with the manager, expressing my disappointment over the delayed service compared to call-in orders, the issue persisted. Eventually, I decided to ask for a refund after observing newer customers being served before me. I then went to Store [redacted], where I was promptly greeted, efficiently placed my order, and left within 10 minutes.

I visited Popeye's store number [redacted] and made a purchase using my debit card, but the transaction was declined. Although my receipt shows the payment went through, I was charged for food I didn't receive. I am requesting a refund of $14.29 or a credit for my next visit to store #[redacted]. Additionally, I initially used a Popeye's gift card which was also declined. I suspect there may be problems with the credit card machines or staff at this location. Thank you.

To the concerned party, I visited the Popeyes at [redacted] Hull Street Rd., Richmond, VA [redacted] on December 27, [redacted], around 5:00 pm. After placing my drive-thru order, I was informed to wait. Despite my receipt being stamped for 5:09 pm, I waited until 5:32 pm in front of the building before finally entering due to the extended delay. Inside, the atmosphere was chaotic, and the behavior of the staff was unprofessional. When requesting a refund, both the cashier and the manager seemed indifferent to my concerns, providing a lackluster response. The manager promptly processed the refund without any attempt to address the situation adequately, merely apologizing in passing. The overall experience was appalling and compounded by the staff's disrespectful behavior towards me as I left the premises. This encounter left me feeling embarrassed and disappointed, particularly as my children were waiting for me. I have the refund documentation available, but I was not returned my original receipt. I'm trying to figure out how Popeye's employees can share their opinions with the corporate office. The contact numbers on the website don't seem to be working. I've tried reaching out to the corporate office in Atlanta without any success. How else can we make our voices heard? If we can't access the right channels to address issues, how are employees supposed to get things done when their jobs are on the line? Moreover, if employees can't even contact their managers due to restricted access to their contact information, what should be the next step?

My daughter, a minor, experienced verbal abuse from her shift manager, Demetrius Johnson, on December 18, [redacted]. Upon reporting this to the company, I was informed the matter would be handled. The store manager, Tammy Hannah, later contacted me on December 28, [redacted]. Shockingly, she mentioned that the company had shared my contact information with her after I voiced my concerns, leading to her negatively addressing the situation and making false claims about my daughter. It is unacceptable for customer information to be shared in this manner, and for a manager to confront a customer in such an inappropriate way. I am prepared to escalate this matter further.

I have tried contacting Popeyes customer service multiple times regarding a gift card promised to me after filing a complaint in November [redacted]. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive it. Each time I have reached out, I was advised to wait an additional 4-6 weeks, but now it is January [redacted]. Sitting in my car for 52 minutes at the Popeyes on [redacted] S Kings Ave is frustrating. The employees are rude during order placement, there are delays due to chicken cooking time, and often incorrect items or missing items in orders. This has led me to stop visiting Popeyes, but this location is the closest so I've tried it four times. Fast food should be quick, please address these issues as three cars have already left after waiting over an hour for their orders. Improvement is needed at this location for better customer service.

On December 31st, I visited the local Popeyes at [redacted] Cameron Road in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for dine-in, so I used the drive-thru. Despite ordering three spicy tender combos, I only received two tenders which were overcooked and dry. Additionally, the Cajun fries and biscuit were cold and not fresh, and the BBQ sauce was missing. Upon returning on January 5th with my receipt, the manager Rose, who consulted with Victor, refused to remake the order, stating I should have come back sooner. Despite my attempts to contact the restaurant on the same day but without success, the manager claimed the restaurant was open and she was not working on December 31st. This lack of accountability and customer service is disappointing, and as a result, I will not be returning to this location.

Today, I visited the Popeye's located at [redacted] Wax Rd. in Central, Louisiana for lunch. Upon arrival, I was met with unprofessionalism from an employee who ignored me twice before informing me that the dine-in area was closed. Despite the lack of other customers, the male employee mentioned they were short-staffed and apologized. I felt disregarded and unappreciated during my visit. I expressed my concerns about the open door and delay in assistance, and received an insincere apology. Disappointed by the experience, I chose to enjoy my meal at a nearby Cane's Chicken instead. The poor service I encountered at Popeye's has led me to decide not to visit their establishments again. I believe it's important to share my encounter with friends and family to advise against dining at this specific location.

I have been a regular at your Popeye's branch at [redacted] Youree Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana, for about three years. I understand the challenges caused by Covid-19 on businesses, including restaurants. Despite the long drive-through lines, I am disappointed with the poor customer service at this location. The menu sign needs repair, and some lights are out at the back of the building. The sound quality of the greeting voice is so bad that I often have to ask for repeats. Recently, the menu items have been inconsistent. I've experienced issues like running out of ice, cups, and sides, incorrect pricing, accepting only cash due to system problems, which has led to many customers leaving in frustration. This branch has great potential given its location near the University and residential areas. I believe a review of the daily operations is necessary as the current practices seem to show a lack of care from the staff. I think this feedback should be shared with upper management or the franchise owner for improvement. I hope this information is useful.

Properly positioning staff members is crucial for a smoother operation. Personally, I've encountered slow service and incomplete orders when visiting your establishment, often waiting around 25 minutes. It would be beneficial to have more visible and proactive managers on the floor, ready to address customer concerns promptly. Customer satisfaction should be a top priority, with managers actively listening to feedback and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.

My spouse and I have visited 6 Popeye’s locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama since November in search of a chicken sandwich. Regrettably, we have been unsuccessful thus far. Our recent stop in Meridian, MS resulted in us being told the sandwiches were frozen, a recurring explanation. When we questioned why this issue persists at all Popeye’s, the manager advised us to wait at least 15 minutes, citing that the day shift failed to thaw them, a common occurrence. Given that this is a fast-food establishment and we are travelers, we cannot afford to wait like this, unlike at a full-service restaurant. The manager expressed that Popeye’s is profitable enough without our patronage, which was disheartening. Have your business tactics shifted to resemble a dine-in restaurant? Is it standard procedure to prepare chicken sandwiches (thaw the chicken patties) upon ordering? If so, it would be beneficial to clarify this practice, possibly by indicating a 15-minute wait time on the menu. I am deeply disappointed by the customer service we received!! I would appreciate clarification on your policy regarding chicken sandwiches.

My recent visit to Popeyes Chicken on January 24th, [redacted], at [redacted] Messer Airport Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama, was one of the worst experiences I've had. After pulling up to the speaker, no one took my order, and I waited over 5 minutes before going to the window, where no one assisted me. Despite there being 5 to 6 workers inside laughing and talking, it took a while for me to place my order for a 12-piece nuggets combo. The staff member who took my debit card had a bad attitude and never returned my card or gave me a receipt promptly. When I finally got my card back, it was left on the counter, and another customer had to alert them. The employee gave me attitude when I asked for my soda and closed the window before I received it. This location's service was terrible, and I regret not heeding warnings to avoid it. I will advise others to steer clear of this Popeyes Chicken location. - Mrs. Linda C.

My husband ordered a 2-piece all white spicy meal, but received a 2-piece dark meal instead, which we do not eat. This is the second time this mistake has happened at the Popeyes in Wiggins, MS. We were charged for all white meat on both orders, but did not receive the senior discount. My husband is 68 and I am 65. The order number was [redacted], and the meals cost $18.94. Each meal should not have been $8.69 as indicated on the barely readable receipt. It seems like we always get ripped off when we visit this Popeyes. Considering going elsewhere in the future for our meals.

I wish for someone to address this issue. This large company seems to have hired the wrong manager at our fast food location in Illinois, Lockport. The current manager's rude behavior towards customers is causing us to lose business. The dishes are not clean, and overall, the service is unsatisfactory. It appears that the management is neglectful, with some managers even showing up to work intoxicated. Furthermore, the store manager's fiancé is also employed there, seemingly attempting to take on a managerial role. This situation is unacceptable, and I hope that someone can take action to improve the conditions at this location.
