I had a disappointing experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on [redacted] Belleville Crossing in Belleville, Illinois, for the third time. Each visit had new issues:
1. There's only one order allowed with long drive-thru lines.
2. They won't serve only spicy pieces; they have to be mixed.
3. Ordered frozen lemonade, got regular lemonade.
4. Sweet and spicy sauce only available with chicken fingers.
5. Had to pay a dollar extra for macaroni.
6. Shortchanged on both orders, missing chicken.
None of these details are listed in the store or menu. Employees were unfocused, making mistakes and displaying poor attitudes. They need to prioritize customer service over personal conversations or phone use. Despite this Popeyes being conveniently close, I won't return. Order#45.

On February 28, [redacted], at 9:43 p.m., I placed an order for 6 chicken sandwiches; 5 classic sandwiches without mayo and 1 spicy sandwich along with an apple pie. However, upon arriving home and checking the bags, I discovered that I only received 4 spicy sandwiches and the apple pie. When I contacted the store to address the issue, the employee I spoke to insisted on me returning the sandwiches and pie the next day for a refund. Despite explaining that the food was for my children and that I lived only 5 minutes away, she was unhelpful. After requesting the contact information for Popeyes corporate, she rudely hung up on me. Her name was Luz. I plan to share a video of the incident with my [redacted]+ followers online if this matter is not resolved. This poor service is unacceptable and I will not be returning to this location. The lack of customer care and professionalism is appalling. It's unfortunate to have to deal with such behavior repeatedly from this establishment.

Hello, I recently had a concerning experience at the Popeyes location in Arizona on [redacted] N Dysart. The management seemed lacking as some workers were behaving inappropriately in the kitchen. One employee didn't wash his hands or wear gloves, handled his private area, and then was asked to prepare my food. I declined and was met with attitude. The kitchen was also dirty, and workers reused dropped paper wrap and napkins. This behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes Popeyes' reputation. I have frequented this location often, but after this experience, I will not return. I was promised a follow-up from Popeyes, but it has not happened. I am disappointed that reaching out for help has been fruitless. I am considering involving authorities if I do not hear back soon. I have an issue every time I visit Popeyes as I have to drive out of my county to get there, which is almost a 30-minute drive. I usually use a $17.99 coupon for a 10-piece meal with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits. I prefer dark meat, but the drive-thru staff often insists I cannot choose and have to accept what they give. This time, I ordered Mac & Cheese with an extra large fry, and my total came to almost $30 due to a $1.20 upcharge for each item. I was not charged this extra fee during my last visit on February 16. I dined at the Popeye's store#[redacted] in Huntsville, AL on March 21, [redacted]. The service was disappointing. It took over 25 minutes to receive a chicken sandwich and a shrimp tackle box, both lacking in quality. The music was unpleasant, constantly fading in and out. South Louisiana music would have been more appropriate. One employee's attire was inappropriate, with pants worn very low. The prices were deemed too high. Despite external factors affecting prices, like the current economic situation, affordability is crucial for many customers on fixed incomes. Consider revising service efficiency, food quality, music selection, employee attire, and pricing for a better customer experience.

Hello, my name is Tamar A. and I work at the UAB Emergency Room. I usually don't like to complain about restaurants or people, but the experience I had at a store in Birmingham, Alabama, specifically the one in Homewood, store number [redacted] on Palisades Blvd, was just ridiculous. Every time I visit, there are problems with terrible attitudes and service. Today was enough for me. I waited in line for 30 minutes as the employees seemed to be playing around, only serving one car at a time. When I finally ordered a Strawberry Lemonade slushy, I saw an employee had it ready on a table, but when I reached the window to pick it up, they rudely said they were out. It's frustrating and sad to be treated this way. This has happened before, but I believe it will be my last visit. Often, when I order chicken at this store, I am informed of a wait time. It is frustrating to pay a significant amount for chicken only to be offered mainly wings or have to wait due to a limited quantity of 12 pieces. A staff member, possibly a manager, reiterated this to me at the window. I calmly expressed my discontent with receiving mostly wings. I visited for dinner and not a refund. Despite my non-confrontational tone, the manager accused me of being rude, which I refuted. I believe his manner was inappropriate. I have spent $42.00 here and am now concerned that my order will be incorrect due to the interaction. While visiting the store at [redacted] E 47th Street in Chicago, IL, I noticed a sign advertising chicken sandwiches for $3.99 each. However, when I purchased six sandwiches, I was charged more than expected on my receipt. The cashier mentioned the price had increased, but I pointed out that the sign was still displayed. Yesterday, I had issues with the network when ordering takeout on the Popeyes app. Despite the order loading problem and multiple attempts to place it, eventually, my order went through successfully. However, the previous unsuccessful orders were also placed, causing confusion. I sought help through the support page to cancel these duplicate orders. Although I thought the cancellation was confirmed, the takeaways still arrived later, making the situation more complicated. Contacting the delivery staff, I believed the issue was resolved until receiving emails stating otherwise. Now, I am concerned and unsure about the status of the additional orders. I am also requesting a refund for the duplicate orders deducted from my account.

I would like to file a complaint about store [redacted] in Annapolis, MD. One of my colleagues visited the store to buy lunch for us while working at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The manager, Nayeli, was incredibly rude. She incorrectly accused my coworker of not presenting a coupon at the drive-thru, even though he did on the intercom. Additionally, when the chicken in the chicken tender meal was undercooked, I asked for a refund, but Nayeli refused because the box was missing half a piece. Despite explaining that the missing piece was thrown out at the hospital, she wouldn't budge. Eventually, after going back and forth, I got the refund. The customer service was abysmal, and I regret to say that I will not be recommending this Popeyes location to anyone, particularly members of the Black community. I have photographic evidence of the box that was not accepted for the refund.

Last week, I visited Popeye's in Livingston, TX, as I usually do. While going through the drive-thru, I noticed a mistake on the order screen. I mentioned it, and they assured me it would be fixed. Though I received the wrong side, I enjoyed the meal.
Today, I returned and encountered a similar issue with the order screen. The staff member was rude and dismissive. After a confrontation, I decided to go in and talk to a manager. Unfortunately, the situation escalated, and I felt threatened by the staff member. This negative experience has made me hesitant to return to Popeye's until the issue is resolved.

I am a resident of Rockport, Texas. An issue I encountered at Popeyes is that despite their website stating closing time at 10:00 PM, I arrived at 9:40 PM only to find out they were closing early. Cars in front of me were being turned away, and when I reached the window, the staff informed me of the early closure. Many customers like myself were disappointed and inconvenienced. We expected to be able to order food and were willing to spend our hard-earned money as loyal customers. It is frustrating when a popular chain with high prices closes early without warning, especially after we've made the effort to drive there. Additionally, my attempts to call ahead from home to place an order were unsuccessful as no one answered the phone despite multiple attempts. The lack of communication and early closure left me feeling dissatisfied and uncertain about obtaining a meal.

On 6/4/22 around 8:30pm, I ordered three two-piece chicken meals totaling $30.75. Upon receiving the order, I noticed the fries were cold. The supervisor on duty was dismissive and argumentative when we raised the issue, which left us feeling disappointed and upset. I recently purchased dinner from the Popeyes location at Colonnade at Union Mill in Clifton, VA. I wanted to share my disappointment with the red beans and rice I received. I ordered a kids meal for $3.99, but it ended up costing over $10 due to an additional charge for a small coke and slaw.
