I am writing to you as a loyal PNC customer since early ****. I am a local resident and student of Wilmington and UNCW. With that being said, I have been displaced from my home for about *** weeks as my home suffered damage from hurricane florence. ***Today- I called PNC's customer service in regards to a $** credit card late fee I was charged by pnc for being late by one day. My credit card payments are due on the *th of every month. Because of the weekend- the soonest my virtual wallet would let me process the payment was by the *th. ***I am writing to you as a very discouraged customer. Since I have been unable to work for * weeks, and am a full time student, I would've thought PNC would have the compassion to waive that fee since I thought I did not have the money to make the payment in the first place. When I explained this to customer service- they responded with "there's nothing we can do". ***I am incredibly unhappy and honestly feel taken advantage of. I barely made my payment- now this bank is burdening me for an additional $**?? With no compassion about my life being turned upside down from a natural disaster? This sits illy on my stomach and honestly makes me want to take my banking business elsewhere. ***Please know that I mean no personal disrespect, but this situation has definitely made me change my attitude towards PNC. I am ** years old.. and already struggle financially as is. ***I hope that you may find some sort of compassion within yourself for me as a customer. ***Respectfully, **Ambria J.
