The issue in GetHuman-jeanaema's own words
I had a two year Iphone*Plus plan that expired **nd August. I went to Optus store to ask about lowering the plan,as I was talked into getting $*** direct debit a month. As an elderly woman who knew nothing about Gigabytes etc.,I went with ** which what was recommended. According to the other company I switched to,I was only using on average *. Anyway Optus staff couldn’t,or wouldn’t help. I spent the next two weeks getting shoved on to aboutb* different members,repeating details over and over and being disconnected all the time,as it was ‘too hard’. Then I went elsewhere and they closed the account for me,I kept my number,and only paying $** for ** GB. Optus demanded personal ID online and on phone,even through they had my account details. The new company were satisfied working from my Optus details. Why did members press for Licence which I don’t have,being vision and hearing impaired???or passport details. To add insult to injury Optus took the $*** out of my account even though it was closed,and I also got charged $** overdrawn fees by the bank. I have screenshots of conversations with Minnie,Kaden,Etc.,etc.,etc.,Compared to new service,Optus customer service doesn’t exist,and is all about selling the latest phone. The bank have blocked Optus from taking money out,and if I don’t get a refund,I am taking the issue to Consumer Affairs. My account number WAS ************With thanks *Jean Taylor
