As a recent customer to Optimum, I am not only frustrated but I’m expressly upset with the way your company operates. *I signed up with Optimum and scheduled an appointment for service connection last Saturday. However, because it was raining, the technician informed me that his union wouldn’t allow him to go on top of a woof, when it’s raining. He told us that he will return on Monday. However, when we called Optimum, to confirm our appointment, we were told that technicians cannot schedule appointments. That was news to us. We rescheduled another appointment for today, Saturday, between **am to *pm. The technician did show-up, but he informed us that he couldn’t stay, because he was sent to another location. We couldn’t believe it. We call back the office, three times to inquire about the situation and to have another technician dispatch to our address. This did not materialize, and we were informed that it was too late, that office was closed, and therefore we had to reschedule for the next available appointment, which is December **. *Please tell me, who runs a business like this? What happened to basic customer service and delivering good service? I had to take off two days and will have to take off on Wednesday to have this cable install. Why? I’ve paid, and I continue to pay for services that have not been rendered. This is unacceptable. What recourse does a customer have for this lack of respect and total disregard, for loyalty or perspective loyalty? Who compensates the customer when a company drops the ball? The various entities of Optimum do not coordinate with each other and therefore, service is inconsistent and unprofessional. This is beyond incompetence and mediocre. One would think this is was a mom and pop operation, this is a substandard operation.

GetHuman-nadiaamb did not yet indicate what Optimum should do to make this right.
