I purchased a Samsung s* from a woman in river Grove. She gave me a price and said it was paid for and clean imei and I was good to go. I met up with her and her address and looked at phone. Everything seemed good and I bought the device for ***.** usd. I took it home and I was a happy camper. Great product. I went out and paid ** dollars to have all my stuff transferred over to my new device and bought * new cases, screen protectors and chargers. Everything was working fine until I called tmobile and asked them to permanently unlock it which shouldnt be a problem if it is paid for. Tmobile tells me no can do as it's still on payment plans and ***.** is still due on the phone. I immediately messaged the seller and she didnt respond. I messaged her again and told her I would get police and offerup involved and then she responded. She said nothing she can do beside refund my money but that's not good enough. I already spent ** for transfer, **.** and **.** for cases, ** for screen protector along with my time and gas to get the phone. I have receipts for everything and I cant return used stuff. So now I'm stuck. I want the phone and have time and money invested but she only wants to refund the money from phone and expects me to be happy. I'm furious and dont know what to do. She lied to me and sold me things under a false notion that it was clean and ready to be sold. Everything is documented in our conversations on offerup and I need help.
