The issue in GetHuman-eriesys's own words
Nest needed to be migrated from nest original to nest *google. When migration was done the whole account became unuseable and had to be recreated under a google account. When everything was reinitiated the temperature sensor was not able to be associated with the account. I think Nest should provide a new sensor as this was a functional unit until the account change required.

GetHuman-eriesys did not yet indicate what Nest should do to make this right.
