Last Week I paid my bill as normal and my phone line was shut off * days later, I called and it resulted in me paying for my line again. (Which was later credited to the account). In the meantime I lost my device (Samsung J*). I went to a metropcs by tmobile store and was immediately shook by the fact that... since i hadnt purchased a $** a month insurance policy, they werre unable to help me locate my device whatsoever. I discussed my "options" with the saleman at the store and was shocked that the conclusion was that it would be cheaper for me to add a new line to my account ($***) then it would have been to purchase or upgrade the existing line. After doing so, it was brought to my attention that the line i just activated would not have the same number i was using previously, so i was still unable to receive calls or anything through my original number. We then discussed the options I had to enable my access to that number (**********) and It was suggested that I purchase a sim card ($**) and I could put it in any compatible device. I returned home and found a compatible device, which I added to my account online. I proceeded to put the sim card into the phone.... and it says invalid sim. So i grab my brand new phone (moto e*) so i can call customer service and it wont even let me!. I dont really know how id like this solved at this point. I just want to have my one line with my phone number and a phone thats not lost and not have paid over $*** in the last week to not even be able to get any kind of decent service!! thank for your time, hope to hear from you soon
