on friday i went to the metro pcs store on ***A in lakeland, fl to purchase a phone. I explained to the sales clerk Joanna that i needed to replace my old phone. She looked up my account and told me that she could only offer me one of three phones that they had. I decided on the lg aristo *, even though i would have preferred a larger phone similiar to the one i had. So she rings up the sale then hands me a receipt and tells me that the phone is non -returnable. I went out to my vehicle, never even used the phone or left the store parking lot, and then went back inside . It was bugging me that the phone was non returnable & the fact that she didn't bother to tell me this until after she had ran my credit card and handed me the receipt. I also wanted to know why i was only eligible for those * phones. So i explained to her that i had not even used the phone but would have liked a phone like the one i had. She said "well, I just told you you can't return that phone!". I told her that i had not even left and had not used the phone and wanted to know why i was only allowed a choice of those * cheap little phones. She shrugged her shoulders, didn't even answer the question, turned and walked away. On the way home from there i stopped at the store i normally go to on S. Florida Ave and asked the csr there to please explain why i could only choose from those * phones. He told me he couldn't explain it because it was an upgrade and i should have been allowed to upgrade to any phone that i wanted to. I then ask him about the no -returns policy and he said yes thats true, but, that his store explains it before they ring up the sale --not after---so the customer has the option of choosing a different phone before the final sale. I have not used this phone for even ** minutes, and i will not use this piece of ****!! why was i not told about the policy before the purchase? why was i not offered all the phones that should have been available to me for purchase?? is this some kind of cute little way to make the customers go back and purchase a decent phone instead of the * little cheap pieces of **** that she offered me?? i want this phone to be returned and given a credit towards whatever phone i would have chosen had the other phones been available to me for purchase from that store.
