I went into a Metro pcs store and explained that my family members have a T-mobile family account and asked if it is true that metro uses the same network as T-mobile. I told her that I need a cell phone that will work with T-mobile but there is no t-mobile store near me and went there to buy a phone if it will work. I was assured it will work but I need have phone on Metro for service for a month. So I bought phone and used until the month of service ended and tried unlocking to use and after a long search found that I must use phone on Metro network for * months to unlock and cannot have any loss in service or time starts over! I feel cheated and would like my phone unlocked to use on T-Mobile which is the same company and I have already got a T-Mobile sim card and phone number for a usable phone!
