I bought a red desk lamp. I received it on ** August ****. I was brand new. It came BROKEN. The problem is when I opened it, about * inches of the plastic housing broke off. The lamp WAS NOT WRAPPED, PADDED OR NO STYROFOAM PACKING!!* The only thing else was a light bulb laying loose. The light bulb wasn't even secured. The lamp & bulb were the ONLY THINGS in the box. The only way a customer can contact Mercari is if you're problem is one they have listed. Which they didn't. I was unable to text. I called today before closing. I was put on hold then the recording said, NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO HELP ME. I TRIED TO CONTACT THE EMAIL THE RECORDING RATTLED OFF. I wanted to tell them the way the vendor treats their paying customers. This is the first problem I've had. I paid $*.** for shipping & the vendor DID NOTHING to protect the item for shupping. If they only took the time to wrap it up, I'm sure it wouldn't have been broken. I like the item. But I think something should be done. Mercari gives you only ** hours to remedy the situation. Please help!
