I joined Match Christmas Eve. **Having registered I spent about an hour browsing and established my profile. I then decided to pay for a * month membership. I said hello to an old friend and sent one polite message to another member. After about an hour I clicked my boost to suddenly receive a message I was banned. I have since received an email standing by that decision. I am fine not being a part of your community however to allow someone to join and then within hours of their payment for three months of service you ban them.**This is hardly ethical business practice. I did nothing to violate your terms and if you were going to ban me why did you do so only after I made a payment and sent * polite messages.**After a little research, I now know you gather information from sister sites. I don’t know specifically what it is that you’re concerned about, however I recently got banned from Tinder so I assume that is why. I do not know why Tinder banned me nor have I had the opportunity to defend but apparently this is where your decision comes from and you assume guilt. Match and Tinder are completely different and what people are looking for is completely different. Tinder has a slightly different reputation than match too. **I did nothing wrong on match.com and dont know what Tinder feels I did. Personally I don’t think it’s a fair business practice to ban someone without explanation to the opportunity to amend a behavior by warning but it is not my decision. **I’ve done nothing wrong on match but I will tell you that I am an a professional man. ** year investment advisor I have a credit score of *** and I am trusted to manage $** million of clients money. I have never been arrested or had any incident with the law for any reason what so ever. I have lived in my home for ** years and am a father. **My intent in joining your site was to possibly find a life partner not to violate rules or offend anyone and I have not. It’s my opinion that this policy in the end I hurts your business. Clearly from the reviews I’ve seen this is the case. **The assumption of guilt is an unfair practice especially without providing an opportunity to resolve a concern or correct a behavior. **Knowing I did not violate any rule I would like the opportunity to be a member of your community. If I was to violate your terms in any way a ban would be appropriate and fair. **Thank you for your consideration.
