MagicJack continues to set my phone to the wrong time because MagicJack is defaulting to the incorrect time zone for me. I am in Florida on EST, not Texas time. Example: When my time is really *:** PM in Orlando, FL, Magic Jack will eventually set the time back * hour to **:** PM. As big as the MajicJack customer base is, how can you continue to default everyone to a Texas time zone? This is a MajicJack problem not a phone problem.**My Vtech Phone Company says:**If you subscribe to Caller ID service, your service provider will automatically set the date and time for each incoming call.* *The time change issue is seen more with VOIP services (Magic Jack, Vonage, etc). This doesn't mean that the phone or the service is defective or bad, it just means that the time zone of the Caller ID is not set correctly.* *Please contact your telephone service provider and ask that they set the time zone to the correct zone for your area.**I don't understand why you don't recognize that all your customers are not in Texas.**If this cannot be fixed, I will consider cancelling my Magic Jack Service and switch to another Voice-over-IP provider that can provide the correct time for my time zone.
I trust that MagicJack will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
