After placing a request for a Lyft car to ** West **th St on the uptown side of the street and the request was accepted I could see the driver was going up *th Avenue. This meant the driver was going to turn east on **th placing him on the downtown side. **I requested a specific address. I need the cars to come to the specific address each time. Drivers wanting to do pick ups and drop offs that are convenient to them are inappropriate. My husband is elderly and walks with a cane. We had to cross traffic in the middle of **th St. between *th & *th Ave. This was very dangerous. **I tried to redirect the car to the correct address and not the one that was showing. I called the driver who said that he was already on *th Ave. Drivers should not accepts fares if they cannot properly pick up.**And now I'm being charged extra because I tried to get the driver to pick us up at the location I inputted. **I'm furious. This happens frequently. I think my fare should be reduced and I think your drivers should not alter pickup and drop off locations.
