I was just in a Lyft ride where the driver followed the Lyft route which tacked on ** minutes to the latest estimation of when I would arrive at my destination. This was because we went significantly out of the way to pick someone up and then she was dropped off long before I was. The app did nothing to avoid trafficked areas. **This is really unacceptable to me since it made me significantly late for work, and makes me wonder why I am I paying over $** to show up late? People use Lyft because it takes less time than the T, so why should I pay more money when I arrived at the same time I would if I had taken the train? I would like to be refunded, or at least given some money back considering that the route was so delayed.
GetHuman-adblackf did not yet indicate what Lyft should do to make this right.
