Yesterday we used Lyft for the first time. It was a horrible experience. We are visiting Portland, Oregon, I used my Lyft app to request a ride from PBX to a Portland address at approximately **:** pm. We saw a car matching the description sent to me and my husband asked the driver if he was our ride. He said no and was picking up a passenger named Jody. Approximately ** minutes later he called me and asked where we were. We were waiting at the location he requested. We asked him how much the ride would cost and he was either unable to unwilling to tell us. He didn’t have the telephone number to contact Lyft. Finally we went into his car which had a cracked windshield. He spoke very little English and we could not communicate with him. He was very confused at the address we were going to which was outside Lake Oswego. He had no idea of where Lake Oswego was. This entire experience was very negative. **When I used Uber, the drivers spoke English, were competent and always told me the cost of the ride before we got into their vehicle. **I still do not know what we were charged. Even with this less than professional experience we felt like we should tip the driver for his time.**I would like to know what I was charged for this ride TODAY. If things are not resolved properly, we will not be using your services again ever!!
