The issue in GetHuman-liasiach's own words
flew from Boston to Athens through Munich on flight LH *** departing Boston on July **. At the time we landed in Munich on the **th we were informed that the airport was closed due to an incident. We were given no further information and stayed on the plane for about * and a half hours. We asked for information about our connecting flights and flight attendants informed us that all flights are delayed so we should not worry. Once we deplaned Lufthansa transferred us with buses to a very crowded area in the terminal without any Lufthansa*representative present and without any information on connecting flights. However, at that time and despite the info I had from the flight attendants regarding the delay of all flights I was receiving email notifications regarding the status of my flight to Athens indicating that it was on time. That was confusing! *I asked many times airport staff to help me and give me priority so that I could catch my flight but they denied me any accommodation saying that all flights were delayed. Again no Lufthansa representative was there to guide us or help us.*After two hours of waiting in a long line for passport and control checks I was trying to find out information about my flight but I could not find anything on the screens. I checked online and I found out that my flight departed at **:** the time*that I was still at the crowded area and despite the previous notification that all flights were delayed.*I was rebooked for the next day Sunday but my luggage with the track number LH ****** is still missing *I need my luggage as soon as possible*Note that there is a claim in my name*ATH***** (this is a new one as the one I initially submitted to the Athens Airport has been bound to this claim as well).
