Hello, I am Selene Romero. I discovered a fake profile of myself on 27Dec19 and attempted to report it. Today, on 28Dec19, I realized that instead of the fake account, my Instagram (seleneromero_) has been deactivated. I have been trying to seek assistance through the website, but I'm unable to upload a photo ID. My account was mistakenly removed even though I have not violated any of Instagram's rules. As an active duty military member, I just wanted the account pretending to be me to be taken down. Thank you, Selene Romero

Hello. My Instagram account got blocked because they think I shared my account with a service that boosts likes and followers, which is not true. One of my photos was featured on a street photography page, leading to more traffic on my account. I was just engaging with supportive comments when Instagram blocked me for a week. I've tried reaching out through the help center and phone with no luck. I'm a photographer who uploads daily and needs to interact with comments. I am the owner of an account (sxucev2) that was hacked a few months ago. I became frustrated as I couldn't remember my password. Despite trying to recover it and not receiving any login emails on my phone number, I have had difficulty regaining access to my account. On December 24th, I changed phones but kept the same number. When I logged into Facebook on my new phone, then tried to access Instagram through Facebook login, a new account was created instead of my old one. I attempted to log in manually, but my password didn’t work. After using the "forgot password" option, the reset link was sent to an unfamiliar email. I have updated my email and password for Facebook, but the issue persists. My original Instagram account, the_natural_turner22, seems to be inaccessible, while a new account, gloriarusso1017, tied to my mom’s name, was created. I have been unsuccessful in finding a way to contact Instagram support. It's perplexing why my Facebook and Instagram accounts aren't linked after the device switch. Any help in recovering my original account would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently facing an issue with my Instagram account. Although I am able to log in, Instagram is prompting me to confirm my account. I have requested a verification code to be sent to my number, but I am not receiving it. Consequently, I am unable to use my account as it is blocked until I confirm it. The only page that appears is one asking for the verification code. Unfortunately, Instagram lacks a customer support team for direct assistance. I am uncertain about the next steps to resolve this matter. I am hopeful that someone can assist me in either contacting Instagram or providing guidance on how to resolve this issue and regain access to my account.

My Instagram account was hacked, and the hacker changed the email address associated with it, posting things under their control. I initially believed I couldn't access the original email I signed up with, but have since resolved the email issue per their instructions, providing verification with pictures and codes. I am seeking access to my account and my unique pictures without starting over, as I don't want the hacker to retain control.

I accidentally forgot the email I used to sign into my Instagram account because I have many emails, some of which were created just for signing up on Instagram. Today, approximately three hours ago, Instagram logged me out and is asking for confirmation that it's my account. I am aware this happened because I shared my account password with a friend. I hope someone can assist me as my account holds significant value to me. It contains numerous archived stories (videos and pictures) that are not saved on my phone, and losing them would be devastating.

I can no longer access my personal/business account, created using an email from a website I no longer have. The business did not progress, and the phone number listed is outdated. The recovery process asks for a code to be sent to my old number, which is not an option. The account in question is themidnightmompreneur, and the outdated phone number linked to it is [redacted].

Upon opening Instagram, I was surprised to see that I had been logged out with only the password changed. After managing to log back in, I realized my username had been altered yet again. Correcting the username and setting a new password did not resolve the issue, as I was logged out once more, receiving an email indicating unauthorized access from Moscow, Russia. Despite my efforts to recover the account, including reporting the login discrepancy, the situation persisted. There seems to be a repeated breach, causing additional complications like unintentionally creating a new account and losing my previous profile. Currently, the account displays as not found with missing posts and comments, causing distress and inconvenience. Restoring access to my original account is my main concern at this point.

Hello, my account her._.marshmellow has been disabled, and I am unsure why. I have not violated any terms or engaged in any hacking activities. I suddenly found myself logged out and when I tried to log back in, I received a message stating my account was disabled. I had a friend's account logged in on my phone, but he recently changed his password. Instagram may have mistaken me for a hacker trying to access someone else's account, leading to my account being disabled. Please assist in unblocking my account as soon as possible. I am not guilty, just in need of my account back. Thank you.

I can't like, comment, or follow/unfollow people on Instagram. The block happened when I followed a lot of mutual friends, mistakenly flagged as using a follower app. I deleted the follow tracker apps hoping to lift the block, but it's still the same. To engage, I have to use the search engine outside the app, which is inconvenient. I'm unsure how long this restriction will continue.

I have recently been restricted from liking posts, commenting, and following or unfollowing users on Instagram. The restriction was imposed because Instagram mistakenly identified my activity of following several mutual friends as the use of a "get followers app." I have even deleted any follow tracker applications to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, the block remains. Currently, I can only engage with posts by exiting the app and using the browser on my phone, which is inconvenient. I am unsure how long this restriction will last and would appreciate it if Instagram could lift the block so I can resume using the app normally.

I am having trouble logging into my account @nattyiceofficial_ with an underscore at the end. I want to clarify that I am not the celebrity Natalia Dyer, but a fan managing a page. I logged out a year ago and now I'm unable to log back in. Each time I attempt to log in, it shows a suspicious login alert and directs me to the help center. My account was compromised by a hacker who removed my contact information and changed my password, preventing me from regaining access. The hacker has been misusing my account to deceive others in my name. Despite my efforts to reach out to IG by completing the complaint form and sending a photo verification as requested, I have not received a response in nearly two weeks. I'm experiencing issues receiving notifications on my LennonBlack account on my iPhone 8. I have ensured that my phone has the latest software updates and have checked all notification settings in both the app and phone settings. I've tried restarting the phone and even performed a factory reset, but the problem persists. I suspect it's an account-specific issue since notifications work on another account. This has been going on for 3 days now, and it's becoming frustrating, especially since I rely on this to communicate with family across the country.

Hello, I have recently experienced unauthorized access to my Instagram account from Russia. Despite reporting several issues through the problem report page, I have not received any feedback from Instagram. The problems I am facing include being unable to set up two-factor authentication, changing my account privacy settings, editing my profile, verifying my email, and receiving notifications. Whenever I try to make changes, an error message stating "sorry something went wrong" appears. This issue has persisted for a week. I have been using this account for nearly four years and have a lot of memories stored, so I would prefer not to create a new account.
