My Instagram account has been disabled. I was scrolling my feed (hadn’t posted in about * weeks) until a notification popped up asking me to update security settings. I followed the link on my email which asked me to change my password and when I did the page said ‘page not found’ so I tried logging back into my Instagram which says ‘user not found’. I emailed Facebook regarding the issue in which they have replied with saying my account is disabled followed by a list of their terms and conditions. I have not violated their terms and have not been informed with how to recover my account. I know their is an option to appeal their decision however the option to appeal doesn’t come up on my screen? This is a huge inconvenience to me as I am an active user on Instagram and like to keep up to date with family and friends, I do not post anything which violates the terms and conditions.
