I have two issues with a prior order - first, I have not yet received the refund for the undelivered order, second, when looking at the PDF detailing the refund, I notice that the delivery fee is not being refunded as promised. I would like to know why my delivery fee is not being refunded and why *-*** weeks later I am still not seeing a refund at all. I have also attached a screenshot of the email conversation detailing why the order was eventually cancelled - this situation continued for several days with no resolution so we cancelled the order and were told we would immediately see a refund of the shipping fee, and a subsequent refund of the purchase price. We have yet to receive either one. If you look at the amount charged and the amount that is supposed to be refunded, you’ll note that the delivery fee is not being refunded, nor are the taxes. I had a phone conversation regarding the delivery charge prior to having cancelled the order completely and was told the delivery fee would be refunded immediately due to the issues we were having with the deliver company, but that was never followed through on, then after cancelling the order I received this promise of a refund and have yet to receive either one. This was my first time ordering online with Ikea and I am extremely disappointed and am unlikely to ever do so again. I am further disappointed with the customer service - I tried to call this morning and after navigating the system of prompts, reached a message that said “due to high volume of contacts”, there was no one available to help me and to try utilizing the online FAQs. I have been an avid Ikea shopper for nearly twenty years, but after this experience, I feel that Ikea’s services are moving downhill and hesitate to continue shopping there.
