I purchased a pax wardrobe last week whereby the wood unfortunately split during assembly. I had used my Ikea family card and returned to customer services at the Leeds branch where I was served by Paula. I explained the situation to Paula and that I would like delivery of the replacement parts and assembly due to our initial struggles. She assured me when leaving customer services that this had all been sorted and that I could expect delivery of the replacement item, collection of the broken part and assembly at the designated delivery slot. Paula had asked a colleague numerous times during my time spent for help with processing this. Unfortunately it has now come to my attention that assembly has not been arranged as we discussed, which I find highly disappointing given the amount of time taken to drive over to deal with this in store as advised and the time spent there waiting for this to be processed incorrectly.
GetHuman-katiemce did not yet indicate what Ikea should do to make this right.
