Dear Sir*Madam**Order No. **********Date of purchase *.*.***Store: Warrington**On * July I purchased a large number of items (total £***) from your Warrington store, including four 'Martin' style chairs. These chairs come with the shell (********) and frame (********) wrapped*packed separately.**A couple of weeks later I came to assemble the chairs but one had not been supplied with any fittings required to attach the shell to the legs. These fittings normally come in a sealed bag taped to the legs.**I contacted IKEA by phone to request the missing fittings. I used the phone to be sure that your staff clearly understood what I needed, rather than leaving an online request. I was waiting ** minutes on the phone to reach you.**Some of the missing fittings then arrived a few days later, but some were still missing despite my having explained what I needed. Only the screws and spacers arrived, not the cylindrical cross tubes which are normally packed in the same sealed bag as the screws and spacers. **Again I called IKEA and had to wait an hour on the phone to before getting through to you. **For both calls I used the telephone number given on your website. I was stunned and upset when this month I received my phone bill to see I had been charged over £** for the two calls, £* for the first, £** for the second. I should not have had to make either of these call, especially the second call after the missing parts had again been sent incomplete. The result has been that my calls to request missing parts have cost almost as much as the chair.**I would be most grateful for your reasonable consideration of the service I have received from IKEA, and for at least partial reimbursement of my £** cost in telephone calls which I feel IKEA will agree should have been quite unnecessary. **Yours faithfully**David Wilkinson**tel ***** *******mob ***** ********I must add today I have tried to email you the above to *****@***.com as directed by various locations on your website including your terms and conditions, but the automated reply states that emails are not accepted.
