I went to New York I rented a room at the Westgate Hotel via Hotels.com. I had a confirmation * however I was unable to check-in because hotels.com did not secure my reservation after I submitted my payment and my prepaid reservation was voided. I was embarrassed and my evening schedule was ruined. I had to pay an additional fee to rent the room directly with the hotel. *Due to hotels.com inability to guarantee my room after you confirmed with me, then left me stranded without a hotel room in NYC. I have been a loyal customer for years and I have never been treated so poorly.
