Dear H&R Block. I have had my taxes done for at least the last ** years by your Oak Creek WI Office. I arrive with all appropriate papers in order to help the tax preparer. I just returned from a * *** hour ordeal which was horrible. Not only was the program that the Block employee was using confusing to her and didn't work when she pushed buttons, but your office is supposed to be expert in advice. One tax preparer she asked for assistance said don't declare almost $**,*** on the sale of a home and another did. Who's correct?* If one of them is wrong I just dropped $*,*** in capital gains tax. Being there is no **** when selling a home how is this sale even reported? What if your other tax preparer didn't show the sale for me? I'd be ahead *K right now? *Next I was charged $*** for a schedule C with one entry on which I made no money as my expenses exceeded what I was paid. It took less than ** seconds to fill in on your screen. One entry only. That's outrageous. Maybe you think $*** for ** seconds work is OK but I don't!* My total bill was $*** for this grueling debacle. I feel like I just went through ****!!! Why should I return? Why should I tell anyone else to. Have you gone totally nuts? Why don't you just charge a flat $**** bucks next year? I left the office feeling my taxes were done wrong and I was charged too much.* I'd like my taxes filed and my charges by your office returned.
