****o! I purchased a Groupon for a moving company. There were several problems and I do not think they were professional movers. Apparently anyone on Groupon can rent a Uhaul and ask for money. **After scheduling my first move I was asked to reschedule the day before my appointment. They told me I could have any time I wanted, I asked if I could have a specific time instead of a time frame which they would arrive because of the inconvience. They said YES, which was agreed at **am. Which was double confined When I called to confirm the time AGAIN. They were two hours late. **The movers came in a rented Uhaul and only with one dolly. They were carrying out boxes from my cl***room by individual box. When they used the dolly they dropped the boxes. I asked them to follow me to the school which they would be delievering my items. It took them an additional ** minutes to show up after I arrived. **When they arrived at the new location they asked my new employer to borrow a flat bed. This is beyond embarr***ing as I am brand new to this campus. One of the movers waited around for the flat bed with out helping the other guy. He then proceeded to remind my employer that he was waiting for the flat bed with out actually moving anything, thus wasting time. **Needless to say they wanted to charge me an additional fee for the additional time. **The lack of professionalism, being “movers” and not coming prepared is ridiculous. I had to pay an additional fee for the extra “time” I had the movers for. **When I called the corporate office to complain he laughed at me and was completely rude. He then threatened to call the police for services not rendered. *I am a teacher who teaches first grade and my kids are more well behaved then this company. **I would like to be refunded for the amount paid. I would also like further people to know how unprofessional this company is.
I trust that Groupon will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
