I contacted Green Dot customer service yesterday, and the representative assured me that $7 would be credited back to my account. However, when I tried to make a purchase today, I was only able to spend a dollar and my account was emptied. The initial $7 credit was not accessible. I demand a resolution to this issue promptly. I am frustrated with the lack of customer service and feel scammed. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] I tried uploading my photo ID to access my card fully, but your system prevented it, limiting my card use to retail transactions. This is unacceptable, fix this immediately or face reporting to authorities. The situation needs urgent attention as I am currently unable to complete my transaction at the store.

I ordered a new Green Dot card after reporting the old one as lost. However, my attempts to link the new card to my Cash App account for money transfers have been unsuccessful. Cash App advised me that Green Dot charges fees for transfers, and due to a policy update, they might not be able to access my funds. I'm wondering if I can set up my new card with Cash App like I did with the previous one. If not, I am considering unlinking my direct deposit with Green Dot to claim my $[redacted] reward and may stop using the service altogether.

I am experiencing difficulty reaching a live customer service representative to address my issue. Recently, at Walmart in Flagstaff, AZ, two other individuals encountered the same problem. Despite numerous attempts throughout the day, I have only been able to reach a recording, which is disheartening. My frustration stems from trying to pay my deductible to replace my phone, but my account is locked. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate this to the appropriate authorities for investigation. In the past, a similar incident occurred in [redacted] when my mother loaded $[redacted] onto my card, and the funds were never received, leading to suspicions of fraudulent activities. Consequently, many stores removed your cards from their shelves, implying questionable practices. I insist on receiving my $50 or else I will involve the FBI. I expect a resolution promptly without further delays or deception.

Several months ago, I placed a hold on my card and have been making payments since then. Unfortunately, I no longer have the card, so I do not know the card number to order a new one. My account is frozen, making it challenging to speak to a representative to understand what is happening with my account. I am missing $[redacted], and I need clarification. Initially, I questioned a few transactions that I later recognized as my own, but there seems to be confusion. I need assistance as I find this situation frustrating.

I recently bought a $45 card and called to activate it. During the activation process, I provided my name and managed to give just my house number, which is 39, before the call broke up. After a two-minute pause, I was informed that the card was activated. I used it for an online purchase, and the transaction went through, but later I received an email saying the payment was declined. When I contacted customer service, the representative insisted on my address to connect me with a manager, although I had already given it during the activation. I would like to either have the funds restored to my card or receive a check with the amount so I can avoid facing similar issues with a new card in the future.

I purchased a card from Walmart and have been struggling to activate it online. I have requested the activation code multiple times with no success. After waiting several hours, I called the 1-[redacted] number and entered my information, only to be directed back online for activation. This situation is frustrating as the card was paid for promptly. I urgently need to resolve this issue as the delay reflects poorly on me. I needed the money transfer to be completed by midnight last night, and now I am unsure when it will go through due to the problems with the Green Dot card. Your assistance in resolving this promptly would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I recently made a purchase at a store where I paid in cash and later returned the items with the receipt. The cashier suggested refunding the money to a Green Dot Card, which belonged to my son who returned the items for me since I am disabled and homebound. I was under the impression that refunds within three days would be in cash, not on a card. When my son handed over the Green Dot Card, it turned out to be restricted. I contacted the store manager, who later confirmed that the refund had been processed to the card. I explained that the card was not in my name and was non-working. The manager insisted it was now Green Dot's responsibility. I still believe the store should rectify the situation since I am unable to access the funds on the Green Dot Card. I just want my $[redacted] refund, whether on a Green Dot Card in my name or in cash. I have all the necessary documentation and details of the store and the manager involved, but I would appreciate some guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you, Kelly Croft

I recently contacted the store where I returned some items, and my son handed them a Green Dot card for the refund. The store confirmed they put $[redacted].60 on the card, but when he tried to use it, the card was invalid. We even purchased a new Green Dot card, unsure if the refund was on the old card without his name. When we called Green Dot, they asked for proof of purchase for the new card and refused to transfer the funds without disclosing the name on the old card. After several calls, they claimed there was no balance on the old card, contradicting the store's confirmation. This back-and-forth has caused a lot of stress, and I just want Green Dot to transfer the funds to my new card. The lack of resolution is affecting my health, and I hope for a prompt resolution.

I had an account with Green Dot while visiting Mexico with my husband. After requesting money from my family, my card got blocked due to exceeding the monthly limit. Stranded in Tijuana, I had to borrow money to return home in November [redacted]. I was advised to contact my state controller for unclaimed funds to retrieve my money. Despite numerous attempts to reach Green Dot, entering my card number online always leads to a message stating I am ineligible for another card.

I've spent approximately six hours trying to get assistance without success. I fear I may get transferred again, but I will explain my issue in the hope it can be resolved. I purchased a Walmart Green Dot card, loaded it with $[redacted] in cash, and when I tried to activate it over the phone, an error occurred. Now, the card only works at Walmart, but I intended to use it elsewhere. I paid in cash to have that flexibility, which I now lack. After spending hours on hold, I visited a store and talked to the unhelpful customer service management, who shared my frustration. Unfortunately, even they couldn't reach Green Dot, whose contact information is widely available online.

I have been trying to reach your customer service for a week now, but have been unsuccessful. I urgently need someone to contact me at [redacted]. Every time I call, I am redirected to a machine or disconnected by an automated service. I am frustrated and in need of assistance as my house recently burned down with my card inside. I do not have my card number or any details. Please, I need help immediately. Thank you. -Melanie A. Brown

I recently purchased a debit card from your company, but have been experiencing multiple issues with it. When I called one of the phone numbers provided, I was informed that the card is activated. However, when attempting to use it on various websites, I encountered problems such as the card being flagged as invalid or having technical difficulties processing the information. I currently have a balance of $[redacted] on the card ending in [redacted] expiring in 09/22 with CVV [redacted]. I am looking to transfer this balance to a different debit card, not another GREENDOT card. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I recently processed a return at DSW using my GreenDot card, with the card number ending in [redacted] and an expiration date of 05/23, for a refund of $59.95. However, I have encountered an issue where the refund does not seem to be reflecting on my account despite multiple card issuances. When attempting to check my statement, I am unable to view the transaction, receiving a message stating that it does not recognize or match records. I am seeking guidance on how to verify the card's activation status and confirm that the refund has been successfully processed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Katie L.

I added $60 to a Green Dot card to pay my HughesNet bill but the payment isn't going through. I'd like to transfer the money to my other MasterCard if you can't fix the issue. The card in question is not a Green Dot card, it's a different one in my name. I bought the Green Dot card at Walmart and it has $60 on it. Please contact me to help resolve this as I am struggling with cancer and this added stress is hard on me. I would appreciate a call back or guidance on how to proceed. The customer service number provided has not been helpful as it only plays a recording before disconnecting. I'm eager for a resolution. Thank you.

I deposited cash onto my Green Dot card at Walmart two days ago. After Walmart deducted their fees, I tried to use the card only to find out my account was closed, preventing me from accessing my money. Despite seeing the balance on the card, I couldn't get an explanation from a customer service representative. I am certain I don't owe any money to Green Dot or any other institution, so I believe someone at Walmart closed my account without my knowledge. I demand my account to be reopened or a refund of my $[redacted]. I have the receipt as proof of my deposit, which was meant for paying bills and living expenses for the next two weeks. This situation is unacceptable, and I am considering involving the police to report what seems like fraud and theft from Walmart and Green Dot.

I need assistance with my account issue with Walmart. Two days ago, I loaded money onto my Green Dot card at my local Walmart. When I tried to use the card to pay a bill and withdraw cash, it said my account was closed. I did not close it, and I don't have any outstanding debts. I am unable to reach a customer service representative as all phone numbers lead to automated messages confirming my account closure. While I can still see my balance, I can't access any features like bill payment or ATM withdrawals. I have the receipt from my recent transaction and this situation is causing me financial strain as I rely on this money for the next two weeks. I am concerned about who closed my account and why, and I urgently need this matter resolved. If not, I will consider involving the police to address this issue of potential fraud and theft.

I am currently facing an issue updating my phone number on my GreenDot account. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in as I have forgotten my password and due to changes in my email address and phone number, I am not receiving the verification code. Customer service advised me to obtain a new card, but with a new job starting soon relying on direct deposit, I am unable to wait for a replacement. This situation is becoming urgent. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. If obtaining a new GreenDot card is the only solution, please inform me so I can explore other options. Thank you for your help.

My ex-boyfriend, who is now in jail after being abusive, stole my phone and changed the passwords to all my accounts, including my Moneypak Green Dot account. I have my GreenDot card but can't access MoneyPak. I no longer have access to the Gmail account associated with it ([redacted]). I've tried accessing it for months. I'm currently using a different Gmail account. I've been struggling to access my accounts for some time. I no longer have the phone or number linked to my MoneyPak account. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I am having trouble activating my card. I tried at least 30 times, but it says I have exceeded the attempts allowed. I received the card yesterday at 2pm, and since then it won't activate. I managed to speak to a live person once before, and they mentioned a negative balance of $21.48, which shouldn't be possible as it's a prepaid debit card. They assured me they would remove the balance. I suspect this could be why my card won't activate. Please zero out the balance so I can activate my card. It's urgent as I need to pay for my insurance license online by midnight on June 30. If I miss this deadline, I risk losing my license, and I will hold Green Dot responsible for any penalties or late fees. I added $[redacted] to my card yesterday at Rite Aid. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I bought a Green Dot prepaid Visa card from Walmart last night. When I tried to scan the card at self-checkout, I got stuck and had to ask a Walmart employee for help. Unfortunately, she seemed unsure of what to do and directed me to the regular cash register to register it. At the cash register, the employee asked how much I wanted to load on the card, and I said $[redacted]. After confirming the amount on the screen, I handed her the money, but she said I needed to go home and register the card first before adding money in-store. Unfortunately, when I tried to register the card at home, it said the card number was invalid. I'm at a loss about what to do next.
