First time using mobile deposit on a **$ birthday check from my aunt. Didn’t realize how long it took to clear until I saw the transaction processing date. I couldn’t wait a week or more, so I took the check to the bank in which it was issued from and cashed it. I did not see a way to cancel the mobile deposit and the bank teller told me it not to worry the mobile deposit would be voided. ********** I wake up to my account closed with no notice or reason. Until I finally reached a representative who told me I was duplicating checks and the account was closed with nothing to be done, no inquiry to the situation just flat out closed done. I’ve been with green dot almost two years using them for direct deposit which is also today. The day the account was closed... and then there’s the **$ or so rewards for using the green dot card. “Jem” employee number **** said it was a closed case no discussion, inquiry’s as to what happened, and no care for the customer clearly. I paid **$ a month to green dot for terrible service, actually no customer service given just a rude woman who did not care for the cir***stances in which surrounded the issue. Which wasn’t even an actual issue as the check charge was instantly reversed,
I trust that Green Dot will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
